My wife and I stayed for a week this past January and enjoyed every minute in this condo. It is exactly as advertised and better. The owners were very nice to work with, the condo was clean and supplied with everything and Julie, their condo manager, was extremely helpful. The Summerhouse complex was one of the best maintained resorts we have stayed at. Great place and nice people, what more can you ask for.

Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, sightseeing.

My family and I had a wonderful week on Cresent Beach. The condo was amazing!!! It had everything we needed and more. It was especially nice to have 3 bathrooms! My 9 and 7 year old daughters loved the "Fish Room". My 9yr old was so comfortable in her bed that she wanted to know what kind of mattress was on the bed. The beach was huge, clean and not crowded! The grounds were very well kept and the pool was wonderful. We couldn't have asked for a better week. Dennis and Katy are great as well. They gave us a lot of info on places to eat and see. Can't wait to visit again!

Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Great condo, great beach

My wife and I, along with my brother, his wife, and their two children spent a quick 4 night getaway at Summerhouse, and we could not have asked for anything better. St. Augustine is a great city to visit with one of the widest beaches anywhere. This condo provides easy access to both. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was fully equipped, and beach access is only a short walk past the pool and over the dunes. We used the reviews left in the guest book on site to find some great places to eat, and Dennis and Katy were very easy to work with for our booking. Could not have asked for a better, more convenient place to stay.

Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

A Piece of Paradise

This was our second time renting this condo and I think we fall in love a little more each time. The condo is perfect and the beach is stunning. Because of the location of Summerhouse, you sometimes feel as if you have the whole beach to yourself. We love the St.Augustine area as well! Thank you to Dennis and Katy for sharing their home with others and for having such an awesome property manager, Julie, to help with all the little things. We will back again and we can't wait. Thank you:)

This condo is exactly as described! The view of the ocean and pool is one of the best in the complex! Very short walk to the beach! Well equiped and clean. Great value! Lots of good restaurants in the area. We really enjoyed staying there! Dennis and Katy are wonderful people and easy to work with!

This was our first time renting a condo through VRBO and it was perfect. The condo was exactly as described and had everything we needed. Our family had a wonderful time and the weather was perfect. The beach was amazing for our three children!!

Quiet, Clean, Nice place

Had a great time here... Beach is very clean and quiet. Not crowded. You can 4x4 on beach which makes it easy to bring all the chairs and cooler to the beach. It is "nothing" like daytona so do not have that impression. The condo was clean and well stocked with dishes, towels etc... They have a local POC that manages the property who was very helpful.

Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, sightseeing.

We had a wonderful time in Crescent Beach and our stay at Summerhouse was perfect. The owners, Dennis and Katy, are wonderful to work with and were very honest and kind people. The condo was everything that you could ask for and it is lovely of them to share it with others. The complex is beautiful, quiet and well-maintained. The beach was not crowded, super clean and just gorgeous. Our family had a great time and we didn't want to leave.

Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children.

Dennis & Katy are wonderful owners and the condo was exactly as described on the website. They could not have been more helpful with directions and any other questions we thought of. Julie was fabulous, she recommended some great restaurants, gave us directions to the grocery stores and outlet malls (very important!!,). She had the condo spotless and even called us to see if we had everything we needed. The condo comes with everything you need, including beach chairs!! The furnishings are brand new and very clean (big plus for me). The view was gorgeous, the beach is very private and the pool is great... All in all we had a wonderful vacation and I am definetly going back for future vacations.

Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

Dennis and Katy the owners were extremely nice and easy to work with. Julie the housekeeper was very nice and greeted upon arrival. The condo was very clean. Great view of the pool and ocean from the deck. Had a great time.

This condo more than met our expectations. Comfortable furniture and bed, important for an extended stay. Every extra was included to make us as welcome and comfortable as if we were in our own home. The ocean view was beautiful, as was sitting on the beach. It was nice to have the pool option also. A real plus was having beach chairs, last time we had to purchase them. One of the nicest part of our vacation was dealing with these owners, helpful, honest and considerate of our time and entire vacation experience. This is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy.

THE BEST! I have been coming to this area for over 30 years. My wife Diane and I now have 4 grown children who still love to come back every year. Great family place for young and old. Creates memories that are priceless! This condo is fantastic and the owners are wonderfull people to deal with. A real family vacation (not commmercial), that you will cherish your entire life! This is a very pleasant place to stay. It was very clean and neat. We spent 9 days there and had a short drive to St. Augustine (The Old Town). The view at the condo was grand and we spent a lot of time at the beach which we enjoyed very much.

This condo is absolutely awesome. It was everything we imagined and more. It accommodated our family, including my mother, and was like home away from home. The atmosphere at the condos was so relaxing and pleasant. I hope we will be able to visit again. I would recommend this condo to anyone looking to vacation in Florida.

We booked this condo in January of 2006 and counted down the days until we could be down in our favorite place, Florida. This was the perfect area to stay in. This condo was furnished with everything we could have wanted or needed. We enjoyed viewing the dolphins (my 7 and 10 yr old were especially delighted). We met a lot of nice people that we were able to visit with everyday. The nearby restaurants were great, especially RJ's! This was the most relaxing vacation we have had in a long time! We will be coming back for years to come. This is definitely a family tradition! Thanks!!!!

We have been coming to the St. Augustine area for over 10 years. Because of the storms, our previous location was no longer available. We are "creatures of habit" and therefore were a bit leery of having to switch our accomodations to another location. Not to worry! Our experience was wonderful and the condo was everything we were accustomed to and have grown to expect. Dennis and Katy were very helpful, patient and prompt to respond to our rental questions. We highly recommend the unit and the location is perfect.

Our visit from California could not have been nicer. Everything about this Condo is so user friendly. Just a few steps to the pool, than just a few more to the gorgeous beach. Add a magnificent view and being lulled to sleep at night by the sounds of the ocean, and you have one perfect relaxing vacation.

To describe this condo as a home from home is no exageration! The view of the Atlantic from the balcony is wonderful. The condo was very well equipped and everything (and more) that is necessary for a peaceful and relaxing holiday is provided including ample videos for the rainy days. The pool was very welcome as the sea was very cold during our stay in March. There is also plenty to see and do in the area, particularly around St Augustine. Finally everybody we met around the condo were very friendly.

We really enjoyed the location of the condo. The views were terrific and we listen to the surf every night before we fell asleep. Our teens loved driving on the beach and we loved riding our bikes for miles around the area. Montanza State park is a gem and right across the street. The bedrooms were roomy and the condo had all the comforts of home. This is a great place for families of any age.

4/19/04 We just returned from a week's stay in this condo. It was fantastic! The view is wonderful. Our children swam in the heated pool nonstop. The kitchen made for easy meals and the entire place is very welcoming! This place was GREAT!!!

Comment Text: What a wonderful time we had! The condo fulfilled our needs - the kitchen is well-equipped, there are plenty of towels for the beach, there are videos for the rainy times... The condo was decorated so nicely and the furnishings were so comfy. The pool was the perfect temperature and never crowded. We enjoyed walks on the beach several times every day. The water was unusually cold, so it was great to have the pool. There are beach chairs in the condo. Bring your tennis and racquetball racquets as the courts are pretty nice. There's a nice farmer's market by the fishing pier on Wednesday mornings - I especially like the local artist's work. St. Augustine Beach is one of my favorite vacation spots and the Thomas condo has been the best place we've stayed in the area and we've been coming to St. Aug for years! Looking forward to our next stay! Thank you so much!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this unit. The unit itself was tastefully decorated,immaculately tidy, and well equipped for all of our needs. The accomodations were wonderful and the location was spectacular. I especially loved the early mornings on the balcolny. The location was also GREAT for my Grandchildren. The swimming pool was below the balcony of the condo. The wild rabbits were also an added treat to watch. THIS IS A GREAT PLACE FOR A FAMILY VACATION!!!!!

Prospective rentors - We have been coming to St.Augustine Beach every summer since 1985. We have rented at several condominiums - until 2001 when we were fortunate enough to be able to purchase this oceanview unit. We have made a considerable number of improvements, including new carpeting, a completely new A/C system, some new furnishings, painted the entire unit, new TV's and other improvements, just to make this beach home a pleasant environment to spend a family vacation. For 15 years we were an annual rentor and we know how important it is to feel comfortable in a strange place that will be your "home" for a week or more. Hopefully we will have fulfilled your expectations. Please let us know if we have or not. We will try to make this "home away from home" as comfortable as possible.
