We enjoyed our stay at this property for several reasons .Along with the close proximity to everything in Lewes/Rehoboth, it was also very quiet and private. The main floor master bath was convenient,with the remaining bedrooms as well. Rooms were very large and the wonderful fully stocked kitchen (larger than appears in picture) had everything we needed during our stay. The friendliness of the owners was welcoming . Having the convenience of the garage was a plus for coolers,beach gear etc.. The community pool was wondeful and very close to the property. All in all we especially loved Lewes and the shops and restaurants. Lewes beaches were a delight . The Buttery restaurant was the best for the impeccable food and service and would definately be a reason for bringing us back to the area.The kindness and warmth of the strangers we met from all over is a neat experience and one we will want to have again. Fantastic house....how's everything we needed including a great neighbour! Fantastic booking process, all our questions were answered and nothing was too much trouble. Great community pool...lovely and peaceful....even Hurricane Irene couldn't put us off! Planning 3rd vist....time can't go quick enough! Would highly recommend this property....unless we want to go! About the owner: We live in Illinois near the Iowa/Illinois border in the Quad Cities. We were both born and raised in this mostly rural area. We have two children - a son and a daughter. After college, our son moved near DC with his wife and their daughter. Our daughter lives in Florida with her husband. I (Sue) have been an eighth grade English and Language Arts teacher for over 35 years and Larry has worked in the shipping department at Valspar Industries for over 20 years. I love to cook, so the kitchen is fully outfitted for the gourmet cook. Larry and I enjoy reading, so there are several paperbacks at the home for you to read. We enjoy spending time with our friends playing cards and board games. There is a collection of cards and board games in the home as well. (Our photo has the two of us - on the ends - with our wonderful neighbor, Mary, in the middle.)

We purchased this home in Lewes, Delaware as our retirement home and plan to move there permanently in the next few years after we retire. We are looking forward to retirement and living in the beautiful Eagle Point Community. We hope that you enjoy your stay in our home.

What a peaceful area, yet so close to the city. Beautiful sunsets, beaches, and wonderful people. We love being near the coast and yet far enough away for storm safety. We have an end unit, so there are extra windows and a large side yard. We play Bocci Ball and horseshoes in the side yard with our family when we're together. Come explore a wonderful place!
