  I stayed at Stacy's home this past April and it was wonderful! The beds were wonderfully comfortable and it was beautifully appointed. Simon, her property manager was incredibly attentive and responsive. Her wifi and A/C were great. La Paz is an excellent destination for those looking to relax. The unit is on a peaceful side of the bay with extremely nice neighbors. I highly recommend Stacy's unit for those looking for a classy vacation at an affordable price!

  We had a great stay with our long time traveling friends. The home and the furnishings were most impressive. The beach access is somewhat different then I had thought from the description. I did try to walk the beach close to home daily. True that the sunsets are very great. We highly recommend bringing or renting bikes. We would bike the malecon often during our week stay. We bought fresh fish off the local fisherman close to the malecon and made amazing meals with our good friends. I would go back with another couple again.

  This home's location was good and about 10 minutes from the Malecon by car. The beach shown in the vrbo.com ad was not the beach near the home. The beach now is blocked by a barbed wire fence. Not a nice walking beach in this part of town. The property managers, Cindy & Bernie, were very helpful when the wifi did not work. They were most accomodating. The house does need some repairs however. The kitchen cabinets were falling off the hinges, cookware very worn, microwave door broken, and bathroom shower fixtures hard to regulate water temp and flow. Shower doors were badly stained from hard water. Our biggest problem was the barking dogs next door. They barked all night and every morning very early. Not a quiet night all week! The book provided was very helpful. Our best restaurant experiences were at bandido's (burgers), Jiro's (sushi), McFisher's (seafood), and LaCosta (fresh fish) and Las Tres Virgenes( steak and great salads). LaPaz was hosting Carnival 2013 while we were there so there was allot of activity downtown which was fun to experience. Location was OK but we would choose to stay at the opposite end of the Malecon walking path next time. Le Telecote Beach was worth the drive because of the beautiful sand and services like bathrooms and food there. The home was clean and gated community was safe.

  Owner response: I will immediately address the issues you mentioned in your review regarding minor maintenence on my home. I take tremendous pride in the home and it's excellent condition. In reading my other reviews, you can see that I endevour to provide an excellent experience. The beach in the picture is the beach in front of the house in mid-afternoon. There is a fence between the house and the beach to complete the gated enclosure. The beach is great for walking, but residents usually swim north of town at Tecalote. I'm glad you enjoyed the town and Tecalote beach. February Carnival week is always a busy and noisy event and it sounds like it bothered the neighborhood dogs. Again, thank you for taking the time to offer feedback and for staying in my home.

  We just returned from renting this spacious condo for a week in December 2012. It is beautifully furnished, well maintained, extremely comfortable beds and is equipped with everything one would need for a stay. Bernie and Cyndy, the property managers, have a wealth of information about LaPaz. It's located within a 5 minutes drive to the heart of the Malecon or the old historic downtown. The best beaches are about 20 minutes out of town so a car is essential. We recommend this rental!

  This is a great 3 bdrm condo that accomodated 6 adults perfectly. The house is clean and in a safe area. Cindy and Bernie, the caretakers are great to work with, the notebookand brochures at the house are very informative. Best meal was at La Costa and sorry to say least favorite was at Stellas. If you have a vechicle be sure to go to Todos Santos and have a chili rellano at Hotel California. Great town to walk around and visit. Another great place to visit is Los Barillos and Espirito Santos Island. We all miss Pascal who was our taxi driver in the evenings most nights we went out....great guy. We used the back patio daily and the only wish we had, was less ground cover and more tile so we could put chairs in more of a circle to visit. Lovely place, thank you for sharing.

  We stayed 5 days mid october 2012 Very charming place in la Paz. We appreciated a lot this house. The owner Stacy and the caretakers have a high sense of service. The house is large, quiet, clean, well equipped and well maintained. There was a lot of food stock. Close to a lot of supermarkets. Charming patio and 3 balconies. We suggest to add some additional toys for young children. From Los Cabos, we recommend to take the road 19 through Todos Santos which is faster and more safe. We also recommend of course to go to the Balandra beach. However, bad experience in the restaurant las tres virgenes : more beautiful than good. There is a place to recommend

  Comfortable living and dining area w excellent kitchen. Living room couches soft and comfy. Great DVD and TV. Bedrooms Awesome. Walkable to nice beach. La Paz is tourist friendly. Safe and secure residence North Americans will feel right at home

  I could not have asked for a better location. Beautiful, well maintained home. Great property managers who were always available when I needed them...And also became a wonderful friend...Very clean, beautiful flowers. In the morning you had everything that you could want...coffee maker, and a beautiful patio, to just spend a leisurely morning listing to the birds. Grill for the fresh fish that is available everywhere. I did rent a car, which made it very easy to travel around all of La Paz as well as near by areas. The fact that you have off street parking in a gated community was so comforting. Everything that you need is near by...Airport is only 10 minutes away. Great restaurants,and coffee shops close by. They also provided a wonderful notebook that had every thing you could possibly want to know. Read it before you start out..Saves you lots of time...Oh and did I mention that the beds were delightful...Will definitely be back.   Shakespeare said a" Rose would smell as sweet by any other name." He obviously never rented a holiday home. So often the description doesn't fit the property and once they have your money the owner loses interest. Stacy is one of the nicest, easiest to deal with people and so are her American/ Canadian managers who will even pick you up from the airport. The house is just great and is exactly as described, only better, such as the Stacy compiled handbook of everything from Restaurant reviews to hairdressers. She tells you which tours to take and who to book them with. The house is slightly out of downtown but at 50 pessos for a cab ride about $4 it doesn't matter. What does matter is that it is quiet and safe and the neighbours are friendly and the beach which is quite servicable, while not the best in the world is next door. There are a million and one things to do in and around la Paz all described in Stacy's folder, so don't stay in watching cable, on the other hand it is hard to tear yourself away from the house. Bring your lapto as the Wi Fi is perfect and Skype is great for communicating and research on local places.There is even a phone and a cell phone! There isn't much of a yard, it is full of beautiful flowers and sculpture. There are beautiful sunny balconies and if like me you enjoy eating outside there is room at the front with shade. Stacy sent me such a lovely email asking me to leave a review, I feel I should say more, but it is hard to improve on perfection. The Whale Watching is just awesom. I am so confident, I guarantee you'll have a great stay.

  My friend and I just spent a week here and had a blast. The house is spacious, comfortable, clean and light in a quiet neighborhood. Very safe and secure--slept great! I liked being in a neighborhood instead of a tourist/commercial zone. Kitchen is well appointed for cooking. Ate breakfasts at "home" -- most lunches and dinners out. (La Costa is a 20 minute walk for amazing seafood & "real" margaritas-- or a $5 cab ride) Enjoyed the private courtyard. WiFi works like a charm. This proved to be a perfect home base for exploring La Paz, Todos Santos and surrounds. We used a combo of transportation options depending on the day--walked, taxied, rented a car. One trip highlight was swimming with the sea lions at Espiritu Santo island. Delightful! Will definitely stay here again.
