GREAT CONDO!

We had a great time! There was bad weather and closed roads but the condo is a lovely homey place and the owner was very helpful and accommodating. He called to check to make sure we were able to make it. It’s by the bottom of chair three and you can ski right to the front porch if you choose (you do have a short walk to get back to the lift but it’s a great location!) Thank you and we would diffidently stay again!

This condo is very convenient and fit all our needs. The owner is very friendly and accommodating. The condo has a nice kitchen with enought pans and utensils to allow me to cook for all the kids and eat in, but there are nearby cafes (one fancy, one more casual) to go to if you don't feel like cooking. The living area was warm and comfortable with a nice soft couch for worn out skiers to collapse on at the end of the day, to play games or watch movies. Plenty of beds for sleeping arrangements - comfortable and warm. The condo walks are shoveled daily and it s a quick walk to the slope.

Our small family (two parents, one 14 month old, and one grandma) stayed here two nights mid-week during the winter and had a very good experience. Location: Excellent. It is walking distance to day lodge for skiing, great restaurants (Jack Sprats and Bake Shop), entertainment (Sitzmark). We even walked to the grocery store (15 minutes). Cleanliness: Excellent. Our baby spent a lot of time on the floor, and I was happy that it was so clean. Appearance and amenities: Good. The photos in ad accurately reflected the property. The bunk bed mattress and couch were not very comfortable but they worked just fine for two nights. Wireless internet and TV/movie system were all in working order. The kitchen had all the extras we needed to prepare meals. There is a ping pong table and entertainment room in the building that would be really good for older children. The sauna was out of order, and it would have really been nice to have that going. Since it was a condo and the holiday season, I was prepared for it to be very loud and brought some white noise machines to help my daughter go to sleep. I found it to be much quieter than I expected with the only loud noises from people going up and down the stairs with ski boots. The owner was very helpful in answering questions and concerns and made us feel at home. I would recommend this property to a friend or relative.

I have stayed at this condo with friends twice in the last year and thoroughly enjoyed it each time, we drive down to Girdwood from Fairbanks as often as we can for skiing/snowboarding and this is now our favorite place to stay. On our most recent trip we comfortably fit 4 adults with gear for 4 days. It is very conveniently located just a 1 minute walk from the ski lifts and the Sitzmark Bar & Grill, despite it's location it is very quiet, peaceful, and relaxing. The owner is a pleasure to deal with and has tastefully decorated, additionally he provides everything from reading materials to cookware to bedding and towels. I recommend this condo to anyone visiting Girdwood any season, it is my home away from home when I am hitting the slopes.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This quiet home had everything the two of us needed for our stay. The location was perfect--a one mile walk along a paved path to the Alyeska Hotel/tram, 3/4 of a mile into town where we used both a coffee shop and the library for email access. The washer and dryer were accessible through a back door from the condo into a hallway that led to the coin operated machines. Portage Glacier was just 10 miles away and a wonderful day trip. Thanks for sharing your home with us.
