Days at the Casa are full of activity and sun, while the nights contain laughter, food and friends. Take long strolls on the beach where you can search for seashells or jump in the warm ocean. Lay out in the sun and cool off later in the private pool with 70' lap lane. Have a peaceful dinner at the villa or go a short eight miles to town for a good time.
If you want to shop, go to Zicatella Beach and hang out at one of the top 10 surfing spots in the world, where you can eat at many gourmet international or local restaurants. In the environs, you will find nature areas like the Lagunas de Chacahua National Park, a group of lagoons and mangroves where you can spy a wide variety of indigenous wildlife, such as crocodiles, iguanas, exotic bird species and songbirds.

Why the Owner Chose Puerto Escondido
We built our home here and finished it in late 2007. The Puerto Escondido area is basically off the radar for most US citiens although a few know it and most keep it kind of quiet. The town is very mellow, no brand name hotels but all the services you generally need. There are a mutitude of beaches to explore although we have our own which was one of the criteria.
The Unique Benefits at this Home-Villa
At our home we spend the days on the beach walking, checking out the green sea turtles (which are plentiful.. no lie..), in kayaks exploring the coast line, swimming laps in our crystal clear pool, having cocktail sunsets and BBQ's. The deep sea fishing out of Puerto is really good, we have caught Marlin, Dorado and oter assorted fish. The Ponga fleet is really cheap for fishing excursions.Our home is very comfortable including all pillow top beds that our guests say are the more comfortable than home. If you must we have satellite internet (2 wireless routers) Sat TV and Sirius Sat. radio. Town is 8 miles which keeps it quiet. We are in a secure gated small community of only 12 homes. There are many great resuarants in town and a really nice new super market, not to mention the Mercado which is a must see.

Hola, let me introduce ourselves, we are Cole and Toni Smith, we are both licensed real estate brokers in Minden, Nevada (a few minutes from Lake Tahoe). Having lived in the mountains most of our lives the allure of an ocean front home always was a priority to us. When friends bought a home on our beach several years ago and enticed us to visit, we bought our ocean front lot 3 days later. This area is fabulous, the people are friendy, helpful and gracious. The beach, oh yes, the beach, goes for miles in either direction, in fact farther than you will want to walk in any given day. We see fishermen occasionally and some times no one. My wife enjoys shelling on the walks and always has some incredible shells to add to the collection. We never tire of the awesome sunsets (a must do for us every evening). The surises are equally spectacular. We have seen mating turtles on several occasions and numerous dolphins and other fish life. It is the good life for sure.
