In March of 2011 our family enjoyed a warm and relaxing vacation due primarily to Deb and Rob's Kihei retreat. The accomodation was very comfortable; clean; ideally located; and reasonably priced, totalling great value. The grounds including the pool/hot tub were well maintained, with the caretaker available if required. Within the condo all the comforts were available, especially the well-stocked kitchen.Finally, Deb and Rob's friendly and helpful style of service-delivery was appreciated from start to finish. Thank you.

Deb & Rob - Thank you for letting us use your home, as our home aways from home. We had a wonderful time with great weather. We did all the island things - Crater, Road to Hana, Seven Pools, Kapulua, Iao Valley & Mama's Fish House. Our son and daughter, and their spouses joined us for a night at the Old Lahaina Luau to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary, a great evening. We took a 3 Day/2 Night trip to Kauai, glad we did. If you go, you must eat at the Beach House Restaurant in Poipu, "excellent". We enjoyed our stay and would like to do it again. Thank you.

Dearest Deb - Thank you, Mahalo for this amazing experience. The condo is so homey, we were very comfy here. We loved eating at the 808 Bistro and Cafe o Lei the most, when we weren't grilling at the pool and making fresh food that we got at the Farmer's Market next to ABC. The hike to the waterfall above 7 Sacred Pools was surreal, especially the Bamboo Forest. We got a lot of great pics. We also drove to the crater for the sunrise. We left at 2:50 am and we were happy to get there early because parking filled up quickly. There is a great import place by Eskimo Candy that was fun to wander around and look at statutes. Adrienne

May 2010 - Deb and Rob we had a wonderful time here on Maui. We spent time on Haleakala, Molokini, La Perouse Bay, Honolua Bay, Kaanapalli, Kihei and my favorite, Lahaina. Thank you for sharing your home away from home with us. Hale Makai is comfotable and very conveniently located for all of our outings. It is especially nice to walk across the street to the beach. Our first and definitely not our last vacation to Maui. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kihei Holiday. Kitchen was well equipped and we appreciated the use of the beach mats, umbrella, chairs and cooler. Thanks for leaving a copy of Maui Revealed in the unit - great reference book! Property is just as the owners described (and feels bigger than the pictures). The owners were excellent to deal with. Rob and Deb definitely want to ensure the people staying in their place have an excellent experience. The property is centrally located - great for those who want to snorkel the fabulous south beaches and surf the west and north shores. All the amenities are a short drive away, including a large 24 hr Safeway. Don't bother bringing any guidebooks as the owners have left some excellent references in the condo. We hope to visit Maui again soon and would definitely stay here again.

We were invited to a wedding in Maui in May 2009. We really wanted to attend the wedding and we always talked about going to Hawaii. After checking numerous condos, we decided to book this condo as we had a phone call from the owner who was very friendly and informative. We were so happy with our decision and the condo made our vacation the best ever. It is so centrally located and close to everything you need. You just walk out of the condo, across the street and to the beach and what a lovely beach it was. My husband and brother-in-law walked for 2 hours every morning. The condo was very bright, clean and had lots of extras and it was very quiet and peaceful. It was helpful to have a washer and dryer as you did not have to bring as much clothes. We would recommend this condo to anybody that plans to visit Maui. Thanks to Deb for all her help and we wish you and Rob the best in your investment.

The owner's description of their condo and the photos posted show you exactly what you will be getting when you head to Kihei Holiday for your Maui vacation. The unit is super clean and very comfortable and the beach across the street is great for early morning or sunset strolls. The use of all the beach toys/accessories is awesome and it really is easy to get to so many of the 'must visit' places from this one. Rob and Deb (owners) are VERY helpful and the additional info/books they have left at the condo make sight-seeing and driving around Maui a breeze.

What a lovely condo! Spaceous, clean, tastefully furnished, with lots and lots of extras (not only laundry and dish soap, which we did not find in other rental places, but even things like Zip-lock bags and Saran wrap, to name a few). The unit is located at the quiet end of the complex, farthest from the road. The lanai opens up into a nice grassy area with shrubs and trees, ideal for children to play in. The location is perfect: not only are you steps away from a nice beach, but you are also close to the airport and to all major attractions. The owners are very helpful and provided a ton of information, including a selection of up-to-date travel guides. Thank you so much Deb & Rob! We will be back.

This peaceful retreat made our first trip to Maui a wonderful vacation. It was centrally located with a gorgeous beach right across the street (great for playing in the ocean, whale watching, star gazing, and watching the sunset!) and the entire complex was nice & quiet for great rest! The upgrades that the owners made were lovely (nicer than many hotels I've stayed in!) and the color palette was soothing and calming - I felt like I was at a resort. And I really appreciated the details they thought of that gave us many conveniences most condos lack (you have access to a beach umbrella, beach chairs, beach towels, boogie boards, beach cooler & more!). If you're headed to Maui and looking for a peaceful, centrally located, and clean (so hard to find these days!) home away from home, this is the place to stay!
