Stayed 13 days, one person, but used the other bedroom as a big closet to store shopping goodies:) 2nd bedroom at bit small but good for family with children and as work office equipped with computer & internet access. Great location, safe, convenient to metro and china trains. Apartment has beautiful harbor view from living room. Apartment was well stocked with toiletries, paper goods, kitchen utensils for light cooking. Washer/dryer unit needs instructions, but worked well after some trial and error. I feel the unit could use a good cleaning (I did my own cleaning of the bathroom and bought a shower mat and dry mat which I left for future guests as I am a sanitary freak so I sanitized the mat asI left it for the next guest). Unit could use a new coat paint, but overall a very good value in a great location for getting around town. Ben was very helpful with any questions I had. I would definitely recommend it to a family of 4 or less. I would definitely stay again.

We are a family of 5 with 3 children and very much enjoyed our stay at the Metropolis condo. It was very convenient to have a mall, grocery store, and restaurants downstairs; the train, MTR and taxi availability across the street was fantastic - for our purposes, this hub of HK transportation was excellent; and as many have said, the view was what every visitor to HK wants to see! The condo was comfortable, with all necessities available, though we wish we knew about the professional laundry service at the mall so that our clothes washed in the in-unit clothes washer could have been more easily dried. The free wifi and computer were great. A bit more of an instruction manual on using the AV equipment and tuning into the FM radio station to accompany the nightly Harbour Symphony of Lights would have been nice. All in all, we would definitely recommend this place as a reasonably-priced home away from home for HK visitors. Easy to arrange and simple to check in with manager Ben. Thanks!

The pictures shown accurately represented the property and everything else was as expected. The property was spartan but clean and well maintained, located in an upscale building with a doorman. The best part? The harbor view, especially at night during the laser light show. Caveats? While the MTR station is very convenient, it requires a lot of travel time and change of trains to get around, especially going to H.K. Island. But, using an Octopus Card, travel costs are very reasonable. Even taxis are a comparative bargain. Restaurants other than at the downstairs mall require a one stop ride on the MTR, which is not really inconvenient. The option of pick up and return to the airport was well worth the extra money, especially if one's arrival is at night and you aren't real familiar with the area. Even a Kowloon cab driver had trouble finding the building one day so we had him drop us across the street at the MTR station and just walked through the mall to the apartment building. Overall, a good deal for a couple and another adult or a couple and two children.

Wonderful Apartment in Hung Hom

We really enjoyed your apartment in Hung Hom! First, the location is perfect just in walking distance from the famous Hung Hom Station, and many restaurants and grocery stores in a mall just below, downstairs, which we found everything so convenient. Second, the apartment has spectacular views of the island from the main bedroom and the living room. Third, the home was clean and well stocked with everything we needed to be comfortable, in particular the kitchen. Fourth, that area is very safe and quiet. Great Stay in Hong Kong

Our stay in this condo in Kowloon was really a blessing. The size allowed our daughter to have her own space. It was very convenient to public transportation and had an exceptional view of the city. It was super to have a washing machine and to be able to use the restaurants and stores in the mall below. All in all a really smart move to stay here as the average hotel room in HK is tiny. Thanks for letting us stay in your condo.

Fantastic apartment

We stayed here for a week, family of four two kids aged 2 and a half and 9 months. The accomodation was perfect for us. There is no provision of a travelcot so we did have to provide our own which was fine as my sister lives in Hong Kong. The apartment really has spectacular views of the island from the main bedroom and the living room which we never grew tired of. The kids room had a view of the railway tracks which my son loved! The apartment has everything you need we didn't have to buy any supplies other than some food to keep us going. I was expecting it to be a lot smaller but it was a great size and very quiet. The door staff were really nice and knew us straight away and always opened the door for us with a smile. The location was perfect for us as we just stepped outside and got a cab to my sisters in Jordan for less than 2 pounds. If the taxi driver didn't know "Metropolis" then they knew Hung Hom Station so getting about was easy. Without kids it is linked to Hong Hum station so easily on the underground network. We took taxis as easier and really cheap. The pool in the neighbouring hotel was great and we spent every morning walking through the mall grabbing a coffee and heading to the swimming pool. The hotel is great for their concierge service and taxis too. The apartment block is linked to a mall so we could put the kids to bed then one of us would step downstairs and get a takeaway, chinese, thai, japanese everything you could want and a supermarket nearby as well. The wifi in the apartment was great and very convenient. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone over a hotel anytime. A great find.

Nice Place to Stay

If you want a stay that feels like you are home, this is a good choice. The only drawback for us was it is a bit out of the way, but if you like the MTR, it is right there and easy to navigate. It was a nice home away from home for us while we were in Hong Kong.

Great apartment in need of a bit of TLC but still comfortable and convenient

We stayed at this apt over the Easter week. The apt is fantastic with amazing views over the harbour. However, it is in need of a professional clean and some minor renovations. With a good coat of paint, new blinds, removal of the curtains and inexpensive furniture in the lounge room, a clean down of all other surfaces of finger marks, and an upgrade of the inexpensive towels, you would have an amazing rental property. Everything else about this rental is fantastic ie the mall down stairs with supermarket, shops & resturants; the train connection and the proximity to the harbour are all great attributes. We had a few problems connecting to Wifi which was frustrating. The bed in the main bedroom was comfortable and the bed linen was lovely. If this apt is going to continue being a holiday rental it is paramount that the walls are kept clean, all the furniture is moved away from the walls so the lint and hair that accumulates can be vacuumed and for goodness sake clean clean clean all the door surfaces. You may have noticed that I am a bit of a clean freak. That is true. However, over all it was a neat, convenient and comfortable place to stay and had fantastic views over the harbour. The convenience to the station also makes it a great place to stay. Thank you for letting us stay in your unit. We really enjoyed our time in Hong Kong and will return one day.

Comfortable, clean, quiet residential condo right above the Hung Hom MTR and within walking distance to shopping, restaurants and transportation. Watched the harbour light show from living room, kitchen and master bedroom every night. Ben was waiting for us at the airport and returned to take us back at the ends of our tripp in his immaculate SUV. Would highly recommend this condo for couple and those with kids.

This property ticks almost all boxes (a couple of wine glasses and matching bed linen would tick them all). The property was clean and close to everything one could want. The view is truly amazing and convenience to train station, restaurants, supermarket, beauty salons etc could not be better. Overall, a very good property to use as a base in Hong Kong. Will recommend.

Wonderful Stay at Hung Hom 2 BR Condo in Kowloon Hong Kong

The condo was perfect for our 3-week stay in Hong Kong. The views of HK from the Condo were something we will always treasure... The best of HK were in full sight every day and night... Great location: easy access to all transportations. Plenty of shopping and restaurants within walking distance. There were even easy and quick accesses to the famed Harbor-front walk; granted it took us several tries, including several wrong turns :), to find the best route. All in all, we were very pleased with our stay at this 2 BR condo and have already recommended it to several of our friends. A couple of them are going to make reservations for therir travels to HK next April and May. Thank you again and we will be back hopefully within the next couple of years.

We stayed here for one week in Oct 2011 as a 21st birthday trip for our niece. As a party of 3 we found the apartment perfect for our needs. Everything we needed in a great location. Having the transport connections, shops & restaurants on our door step made life vey easy. After a hectic day in Hong Kong it was a pleasure to sit & absorb the stunning view from our lounge & bedroom windows. Far better than staying in a small hotel room with a view of the air con units on offer for a similar price!! Definately recommend a stay here :-)

We stayed for a few days in May and had a great experience. We were 3 adult women, doing a "girls' trip" to China and Hong Kong. The apartment is exactly as described, and the view was fabulous. We sat inside on our first night and watched the laser light show from the couch. The location is very convenient - there is a shopping mall with restaurants and a grocery store in the basement of the high rise, and an MTR across the street making everything in Hong Kong just a hop skip and jump away. We even walked one evening along the waterfront back from the Star Ferry terminal. We arranged the airport transfers through the owners, and it couldn't have been easier. Considering what you'd pay for a (tiny!) hotel room in Hong Kong, this place is a bargain, too. Thanks for making our trip so easy and comfortable!

Sorry so late, but I wanted to tell you thank you for letting us stay at your apartment, the apartment was wonderful, just perfect for our little family. The kids just loved the bunk beds and the view from their window. We look forward to another trip to Hong Kong someday. Ben was very helpful even when we got lost in the city, he was a phone call away to help guide us. The apartment was everything we expected and more. From long days of sight seeing and watching the busy body of the city, the apartment was so warming that we felt like it was home, in fact the kids kept saying when we were out and about that they couldnt wait to go home just to relax. (referring to the apartment in HK and not in the US) so it was nice to hear that from the children. The location was perfect! having the mall below us for groceries and then across the street was the MTR. Once again thank you for your kindness in service. I booked this apt. for my daughter, son-in-law and two grandchildre,8%6. They were amazed how clean the place is. The location is convenient for shopping and eating. They enjoyed the harbor nights every night and wouldn't want to go out. They will rent again in 2012. They went Nov, 2009. Definitely will recommend to any one with young children. Helen

The location of the apartment is wonderful : metro statio, train , bus, taxi : all at the entrance of the Metropolis tower. A perfect apartment for a couple and childs. Very cosy with all accomodities. A wiew from the bedroom and the living room : Fantastic. Mr LOK is a very serious and helpful person. This apartment was everything the listing claimed and exceeded our expectations. My family of 5 stayed there for a month, and the kids didn't want to leave. The location was convenient to various transportation, and the kids felt comfortable with the area that they frequently went out on their own for shopping and eating. The view was more amazing than what you can see from the picture here. The family created lots of memory here.
