My wife and I and our 2 dogs had a lot of fun at the house and in the lake. We walked to the clubhouse and the dogs had easy access to the lake using the boat launch area. We arrived late....the nearest large grocery store is 16-20 miles away, so anyone should stock up before arriving. We rented a pontoon boat from Stephanie (her info is provided at the house) and loved cruising the lake with it. Try the boiled cajun peanuts!

We rented this house for Spring Break and brought our ski boat with us. The boat house is nicely situated for families with boats. The house itself is very cozy and comfortable. It would be great to have wifi there.

Perfect time of year to see leaf colors at their peek. House was very comfortable, large open floor plan makes for relaxing time for all. Owner was very helpful and neighborhood was very quiet. Wise to do grocery shopping before you get there.

Beautiful property and beautiful time to visit with the leaves just turning into their full color. Lake was incredible and having access to the kayak and canoe was great! Dominic was wonderful to deal with and the home was very clean. I would highly recommend this rental!

As a new retiree and Clemson Alum, we wanted to escape to Clemson and mountain area for Clemson activites, mountain exploring and just plain relaxation. We accomplished all three by staying in this bueatiful house strategically located equal distance from Clemson and Cashiers.. The house offerred everything we needed and was spacious for our needs. A little fishing off the dock( actually caught a few), walking throughout the neighborhood and sitting on the deck with a good book added to our enjoyment of the home comforts. We would recommend this listing to anyone wanting to get away on bueatiful Lake Keowee.

Would highly recommend this house, community and location. House is layed out very nice with spacious rooms, beautiful kitchen, nice screen porch and outdoor fire pit. We used the canoe, fished off the dock, swam in the pool, used the hot tub, played tennis and basketball all within the community. We did Zip lining (30 minutes away), go karts, batting cages and putt putt (20 minutes away). It is about 15 minutes away from the Reserves so for us it was prefect.

Stayed the week of July 4th. House is beautiful. Bedrooms were big. There were 8 of us total and never ran each other over in the house. We fished took our boat and docked it there. Canoed and kayaked and swam at the community pool. So much to do. The adults and kids were never bored. We would definately go back. The Lake had fireworks and so did all the neighbors. We had so much fun. We're all ready to go back. Good times great bar-b-q's. Best part was its so scenic there. A great vacation!

Our family spent 3 lovely days at this beautiful lake house. We were in town for our son's graduation from Clemson. The house was a perfect alternative to staying in multiple rooms in a hotel. We enjoyed being able to cookout at the house and also having plenty of room to spread out and relax. We used the canoe to explore the lake. The house is about 35 minutes from the University. The house is well equipped with anything you may need. I would highly recommend staying here for next year's graduation!!

My wife, two children, and I enjoyed our three nights at yur home. The community center and pool, not yet open for season. We rented a boat and enjoyed Keowee. Gets a bit pricey for April. However, we did enjoy it, and left home as we would like someone to leave ours.

Fairly secluded home on Lake Keowee. Area is very pretty and extremely quiet. Only a few homes in the neighborhood by the lake. I rented the place so we could attend a Clemson football game. Roughly a 30 minute drive to Clemson. We really enjoyed the home and would return for another football weekend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 1 week stay. Home was as advertised, nice and clean, good interior design, and worked perfectly for our family of 5. Enjoyed fishing off dock, cooking out on deck, and playing games on screened in porch. Brought my boat and launched from neighborhood ramp. North part of lake is beautiful, and home is minutes away by water from a marina and nice waterfall. Also very close to Jocassee and Toxaway if interested. Neighborhood was very quite and just an all around great place to spend a week. Highly recommended and expect we will be back next year.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at this house over graduation weekend. This house is beautiful, very roomy, cozy and welcoming. We hosted 25+ people there for a cookout dinner party on Saturday - there was plenty of room for everyone not to mention a gorgeous view from the deck and screened in porch. We were able to sleep 8 adults and 2 children comfortably. The kayak was so fun for the kids and we rented a boat from Keowee marina (south end of Lake Keowee - house is about 45 minutes by car and by pontoon boat) on Friday, which we docked easily at the deck. The lake is such a wonderful, beautiful amenity that everyone can enjoy not to mention the pool and tennis courts. We also brought our dogs. The whole place is hardwood floors, so if there is an accident, it's easy to clean up. You can roll up the rugs to make sure those are not subject to an accident. This is a great place to have a vacation!

This lake house was just wonderful for our young family: safe and friendly in a small gated neighborhood that was very secluded. Our children ( 2, 7 and 9) had a blast. We spent almost all our time in the water in the private cove that hosted a dock surrounded by beautiful water. We took the canoe and kayak out daily. The cove opened up into a large part of the lake that was easy to navigate and explore the nostalgic landscape. Our kids felt comfortable swimming off the dock and jumping off the "funstation" float that we blew up. Whenever we needed a break from the water, the lake house offered everything we needed to unwind; tv's, couches, movies, and all the comforts of home. We cooked on the grill each night and never looked at the clock. The kids enjoyed fishing and exploring for turtles and small wildlife. We saw some deer in the neighborhood very close to the house. We really enjoyed the peace and quiet that the lake house offered. We sat on the deck each night and took in the atmosphere. The lake offered healthy fun and let us enjoy each other's company.. Bringing food was a big plus but when we needed some items, the store was not too far away to get whatever was needed. We took advantage of the community pool and hot tub as well. We had our young dog with us and he experienced his first "doggie paddles" from the community boat ramp. If you want to get away from the world and reboot, this is the experience for you; comfortable, safe and fun. We loved every minute of it. We will be back. The owner is great to work with too: returned phone calls and emails, answered all questions and very helpful and friendly.

Our family of five enjoyed this wonderful home on Lake Keowee. The house was quiet and had all the amenities of home. The dock is on a quiet and safe cove perfect for swimming and fishing. We enjoyed the turtles who came to visit too. Having a pool nearby was a plus! Would defintely rent this place again as it is on the most scenic end of Lake Keowee!

Our family had a wonderful time at the lake house! Even our dog! We loved going out on our boat and swimming in the lake. My son caught his first fish off the dock. The house was great. It was well kept and spacious. It had many ammenities you would find in your own home (namely in the kitchen). There were many steps, but even my 2 1/2 year old was able to navigate them. Definitely bring in as much key food that you can. There is a store, but it is pricey. We found the BP close by helpful the night we arrived. (The Marketplace closes at 7pm.) And don't forget paper products! (Including TP) The owner was especially helpful with questions. We loved that we could bring our dog who loves the water! This was a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the view!

As many others have had to do this summer - our plans to go to the Gulf shifted due to oil. Lake Keowee was a short 2 hour drive from our house in Atlanta and we could not have been more pleased. This house sits in a quiet cove and with three floors, has plenty of room for everyone to stretch out. Our family loved the outdoor screened porch and loved playing pool downstairs - when we were home. The lake is huge and if you rent a boat you can tube, ski, or just cruise and look at all the beautiful waterfront property. Our girls really enjoyed a few days of tubing. Renting a boat from Lake Jocasse outdoor center was fast and easy. Another good thing about this house is that a pool was within walking distance. We had a baby with us, so being able to float in the pool was a good alternative to the lake on some days.
