  great place great location, we had stayed at this property for 3 nights and wish we would have stayed longer the property was great -- very relaxing -- also the location was perfect all walking distance to anything from food to partying -- gated community made it even better as we always felt safe-- if I where to stay in tamarindo again... and I will be I will definitely stay here again -- thank you so much for the accommodations.

  We wanted to send a quick note to express our deepest gratitude for allowing us to rent your home. Our three girls absolutely enjoyed having their own room, my youngest loved the swimming pool after a long day at the beach. Your recommendations were spot on! We enjoyed some of your favorite places like Noguis and Walters. My husband loved the Falafel restaurant! We loved the Guachipelin excursions and the shuttle service to the condo on Easter was fantastic. Although this was our first time to Costa Rica, it will most certainly not be our last. My husband and the girls are already talking about vacationing there next year.   Our crew of 5 had plenty of room in this spacious house. A large kitchen for our daily breakfasts, 3 bedrooms for everyone to get away from each other and relax as well as three bathrooms which spoiled us. We chose to pack up the car and drive to the beach, but you could walk if you were traveling light. We were able to walk to dinner a few nights to great nearby places. Good security. There's a pool on site, but there's so much to do in Tamarindo we never made it to the pool.Washer and dryer at the home were very useful. Owners very helpful from the time of inquiry to our departure and exchanged tips on where to eat and visit.

  What a vacation! Location is great, the size of the condo was comfortable for my group of seven adults, it's clean, and quiet. You are less than a 5 minute walk to beach and minutes to some of the best restaurants and bars (You must go to Season's across the street!). Although safety was never a issue, the security guard who works the evenings provided that additional safety when accessing the grounds. I'd say that the condo is perfect for vacationers who want to be able to relax away from the noise in town and at the same time be a short walk away from the nightlife of Tamarindo! The property management company and owner were very responsive to all emails. The owner mailed me a packet of information about local attractions and things to do. She also gave us great pointers on different surf breaks up and down the coast. Overall, it is a perfect place to stay when visiting Tamarindo! Thanks, Heidi!

  Bottom-line up front: great condo, great place to vacation. Our group of seven visited Tamarindo for a week of surfing. We wanted a nice place to stay within walking distance of the main area of town and the beach, but far enough away from the late night music for peace and quiet (we're all busy professionals who wanted rest and relaxation, too). This condo was perfect. It's quite large and very clean. The tiled showers and walk-in closets are huge. Lots of areas to lounge in. The condo area is secure by gated access and has a night watch, which may give some travelers piece of mind. The owner, Heidi, was on top on of everything. From travel/local area info to receiving the keys, to the comfort of the condo, it was excellent. There were a couple of very minor maintenance needs that were immediately addressed-- good luck finding this in a typical hotel. For this reason alone I would absolutely stay here again without hesitation. [Heidi, thanks!]

  Look no further...Heidi's condo is perfect! My family & I (4 of us) just spent 10 days in Tamarindo. The condo is beautiful, is a terrific location, has everything you could need! We were all very comfortable spending the week in our 2nd home! It's within walking distance to everything(no car needed). Lots of wonderful restaurants very close, plus the beach is a 5 minute walk! You will NOT be disappointed!! Heidi sent us all kinds of useful/helpful info prior and during our trip! The weather was perfect! There is a guard at night and the place is totally secure, not that we found Tamardindo unsafe at all. Very friendly people, use Xplore for your tours - ask for EUGENIO for your guide(tell him Alice,Nancy,Courtney&Kevin sent you!) Get $25 massages on beach @ LaPalapa. Kahiki's is BEST breakfast ever! Nibbana's is 5 star restaurant w/ small price tag!! Don't miss it!! Do NOT go to El Pescador...tasteless food. Get nachos @ Witches Rock, pizza @ La Baula. Hang out @ Le Beach Club in bean bag chairs all day!! Skip the Crazy Monkey bar...crowd is like 18-25(unless you are that age, then go for sure!) Don't miss El Jardin de Eden(hard to find, near monkey bar on back road)-but it is AMAZING!! Slow down and relax...nothing happens fast in CR!! ATV's are an amazing 2 hours! Ziplinning is a must! Try surfing(a little hard!) Catch the fire show at night at any beach side restaurant! Go on sunset cruise. Skip Dona Lee's...wine was bad. Try Bamboo Sushi Club - ok food, amazing atmosphere!! Not to be missed! Above all, have FUN, relax and you must stay @ Heidi's condo...you will NOT be disappointed!! All the best of everything there!! Wireless internet also. Buy rum, etc @ grocery store & blend up your own drinks with fresh fruit(mango, bananas, payayas, etc). Do NOT buy the tacos on the beach - they are made from hotdogs!! haha. Tell Snookie we said hi @ Kahiki's!! She also works at Coppacabana @ night - great gal!! Once again, location is EVERYTHING in Tamarindo...other condos might be a buck or 2 cheaper but Heidi's is the best! Also try the BBQ place on the strip - amazing pulled pork sandwich. And $2 smoothies in the shopping center right next door to BBQ place - made with fresh fruit and milk!! Also, go have a cocktail & Diria Hotel...amazing place!! H A V E F U N!! We will be back next year for sure!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Alice, Nancy, Courtney and Kevin!

  As this was our first trip to Costa Rica, once we knew that we were going to be staying at this beautiful penthouse and after speaking to the owner, we were so much more at ease visiting Costa Rica. The description of the penthouse is very accurate; it is very well equipped, spacious, with a lovely layout and extremely comfortable. The location is perfect - close to everything i.e. beach, shopping, dining, car rental, tourism office, etc. and it is very safe, quite, gated complex and with a very personable security guard during the nights. The outside of the complex is well maintained and cleaned thoroughly on a weekly basis. Heidi, the owner provided us with detailed information on everything one can imagine, e.g. how to get from the Airport to the penthouse, best places to eat at, shop, location of the groceries stores in town, who to get the best massage from on the beach, surfing, places to visit outside Tamarindo, how to get there and where to stay, where to rent a car in Tamarindo, where to get the best panoramic views at sunset, which company to zip line with, etc. Everything was well documented and communicated via email and easy to follow - she is a very experienced traveler of the region and gave us the most professional and accurate information. All the recommendations that we followed through on, more than met our expectations. Throughout our trip Heidi was accessible by email to answer any questions/concerns we had. The beautiful penthouse and the reliable/trusted information that we were given prior and during the trip made this one of the best vacations ever. WOW – HOW AMAZING!! I would highly recommend this rental property to anyone considering visiting Tamarindo and looking for a “home away from home”. Thank you for making this entire trip such an awesome experience.

• Best of Tamarindo!

  We traveled to Tamarindo for 4 weeks in August 2012 for Spanish language immersion classes. For those 4 weeks this penthouse was our base for exploring Costa Rica and our home while attending our classes. We couldn't have been happier with our experience. The description and photos of the property don't do it justice. The residence is the entire third (top) floor of the building. It is large and comfortable with all of the appliances and conveniences to make it more than a vacation rental. You can tell that this is someone's home that they are sharing with us. Having a full kitchen with all the cookware and utensils made this home perfect for our extended stay. The full laundry room with washer and dryer was a big help, too. Weekly maid service left the place spotless and was much appreciated. The location was perfect for us. Our Spanish school was a 7 minute walk each morning. You can enjoy everything that Tamarindo has to offer from this location without a car. The location is surrounded by really good local and tourist restaurants, several literally across the street. Grocery stores, a pharmacy, doctor's office and commercial center (tour companies, banks and retail) are all within a 5 minute walk. The beach with all of it's activities is just a couple minutes more. You don't need a car to enjoy all of Tamarindo from this location. We did have a car as we regularly traveled up and down the coast to explore other beaches and communities as well as traveling to the Cloud Forest at Monte Verde and to Arenal Volcano. We really appreciated the enclosed private parking for our car and easy access right at our front door. If you want a car for a day trip, Hertz is right next door to the complex. The rental and financial transactions were simple and very straight forward. Heidi is a pleasure to work with and her management company in Tamarindo was very responsive and accommodating. We have traveled to Tamarindo several times. When we return we look forward to enjoying this great penthouse once again!
