There is a spectacular view of the lake from master bedroom suite and from most of the house, with comfortable new beds, large bathrooms, and a separate laundry room. Guests may use the board games, kayaks, row boat, and canoe that come with the house. Enjoy an outdoor fire.
This would also be a nice spot for a business, church, or large family retreat. It is a quiet and relaxing home, with many opportunities for water sports and other local activities.

Your spectacular home was just right for a great getaway weekend. A group of ladies spent the weekend enjoying the numerous amenities your home offers. We had ample space and the kitchen was more than we could have ever expected. You thought of everything in all areas. We had great fun with the games and the fireplace was picture perfect. And the view, oh wow! Hope to get everyone together again next fall and make this is an annual tradition. Thanks for all the attention you have shown in making our stay truly memorable.

My entire family stayed the week of July 30- Aug 6 and had a wonderful time on this peaceful lake. There were 8 children (9 months - 16 years) and 7 adults and there was something to do for everyone! The kayaks, row boat and canoe provided tons of enjoyment as well as the pool table inside. There was great fishing and we even caught a few turtles! The rooms were very accomodating and beds very comfy. All the furnishings were very nice and clean. The kitchen is very well furnished with everything you'll need to prepare meals: griddle, crock pot, stock pot, pots, pans, utensils, dishes, etc. And if you've forgotten anything, Marv's General Store just 1/4 mile down the road has everything under the sun! We even ordered pizza from Marv's the last night and it was wonderful! We pretty much had the lake to ourselves during the week. There are no places to rent boats/jet skii's, so if that's something you're interested in doing, you'll have to bring your own. There is not much to do in the immediate area, but we found plenty to do on the lake and playing bags, having campfires, taking a walk to get ice cream at Marv's, so we were never bored! The owners were wonderful to work with and we would definately stay in this beautiful home again!

Our family spent a week at the Hemlock Lake House the middle of July. There were 14 of us from less than 2 yrs old to 60's. We had a wonderful time. The house is beautiful, has a well stocked kitchen and very comfortable throughout. We enjoyed the kayaks, the upstairs deck and the lower patio was wonderful and shaded for a kiddie pool. I would recommend this home to anyone. Linda Fields

Our extended family rented this beautiful house for a holiday weekend. It is the perfect setting for large groups - kids and adults alike! The layout of this house is great with lots of bedrooms and bathrooms to make us all comfortable. The kitchen and dining area are large and very very clean! The pictures do not show the true beauty of this house. Our family has been renting for almost 10 years and this was a great experience for us. The owners communicated with us well, set clear expectations of us at check in and check out times, and felt like friends by the time we were through renting from them. We look forward to renting this great house again and know that you will not be disappointed staying there either! (As a side note, we rented in the winter months and didn't even get to enjoy the fun that the water activities can offer - I'm sure it's even better in the summer time!!!!)

We rented this home for a long weekend over spring break. There were 10 of us - two families with 4 adults and 6 children (ranging in age from 8 to 17). There was plenty of room for everyone to have their own space and spread out - the house is quite big! The view of the lake was beautiful and the neighborhood quiet and quaint. It is a very remote area with not much to see or do beyond spending time on the lake or in the home (which was enough for us for our 3 day trip). We did make the 30 minute trek to Coldwater and took our children to the Drive-in theater one evening, but spent most of our time just relaxing at the house and enjoying the lake. Our children really enjoyed hunting for crawdads! Jim and Carol were professional and timely with paperwork and return deposits. Highly recommended for a relaxing get away.
