  My family and I had a wonderful time at this villa. I loved that there was an upstairs balcony which I used everymorning to sit with a book and coffee while everyone else slept. I would suggest some comfy furniture up there. The rooms were very tidy and clean and we enjoyed the fact that we had a seperate ensuite for our bedroom away from the kids. The other two bedrooms accomodated the three kids with one double bed and two singles for the older girls. We enjoyed the pleasnt sleep in the airconditioned bedrooms. My only suggestion would be to stock the kitchen with more dishes and glasses and cutlery. The cleaning lady did a good job and Peter was always around and easy to reach for questions and help. Would recommend going in to Speightstown which is within walking distance to the visit the Orange Street Grocer( a wonderful resturant with very good food and a great view) Loved it!!!! The beach behind Port St.Charles is perfect for swimming. Grocery stores are within walking distance also. Loved it there. Will definitely return.

  As a family of 5 (male and female) we were very pleased and surprised with the amount of space this villa offered. The three bedrooms (one with ensuite) were very spacious and fitted with AC which was a godsend. The dining and living areas were fitted with large fans and had ample space for us all to manoeuvre. There is a TV, radio, stereo and DVD player for your leisure. The kitchen was equipped with almost everything we needed, a few more pots/pans/storage containers wouldn't have gone amiss, as we cooked most of our own meals. Stairs leading to patio was great as a little get-away from family and sunning. The ground floor patio was ideal for morning coffee and/or chilling in the evenings. The separate laundry room and amenities were very useful, although there is a maid service available to take advantage of. If needed, Karen and Peter were just a phone call away. We had a car rental brought to us at the villa and collected at the end of our stay, recommended and arranged by Karen. Though we had our own transport (very useful if arriving back late at night), St Clare is in close proximity to Speightstown and even closer to Almond Beach (one of my favourite beaches on the West Coast) which is ideal for families, especially those with young children. It's also not far from Mullins which is a nice stroll on a cool day. Bus transportation is very close by on the main road. Nothing is far away. The pictures and description details accurately reflect this villa - it looks even better in person. It's very clean and well maintained. Although not far off the main road, it's in a quiet area which is ideal to get away from the hustle and bustle of town or after a long day at the beach. Being very particular I looked at numerous villas before settling on St Clare and we were not disappointed. We stayed for a total of 3 weeks and it felt like a home away from home. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this villa to anyone looking for a place to stay in Heywoods/ Speightstown, St Peter. Overall, our family had a great stay at St Clare. Thank you Paradise Rentals.

  The St Claire property was ideal for my extended family. As a party of seven we had ample space and utilities to ensure our comfort. The home has three beds (A/C & Fan)& two baths with hot water. The kitchen was equipped with all applicances and items needed for preparing & serving a meal. The roof top patio was quite enjoyable to look at the stars and feel the cool Caribbean breeze. There was also a patio just out from the kitchen which had great lighting for playing cards, board games. It also housed a laundry room that we were very pleased to have use of. The best thing about St Claire is it's location. It is walking distance to one of the most beautiful beach in Barbados located in Speighstown. The Almond Beach Hotel is located on this beach. The beach here is ideal for children as well as big kids who love the water.My entire family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Jordan's grocery store is within walking distance and you can a get a selection of foods and drinks to enjoy. Thanks to Paradise Villa Rentals who work with the most friendly islanders, we had a great rental car (People carrier), brought to our home. The taxi service for airport pickup arranged by Paradise Villa's Karen ( Keisha & Andy) were absolutely fabulous. We used their services a couple of times more to pick up our relatives from the airport flying in from Trinidad. Thank you Karen & Peter for taking such great care of us. I cannot wait to be back in Barbados and I will stay no where else but in Speighstown- St Claire Villa - Heywood Park.

  My husband and I stayed at the St. Claire and was very pleased. The property was clean and well-maintained. There were 3 nice, air conditioned bedrooms. There were 2 bathrooms which we loved. The pictures on line accurately showed the villa's appearance. The beach was very near this property. We went to Moon Town in St. Lucy to Elmo's. This store sells supermarket items and cooked foods. For a fancier restaurant, The Fish Pot in in St. Peter makes delicious foods- its a little pricey, but well worth it. We didn't drive, we rode the buses. We went into Bridgetown to do some shopping. We really spent most of our time at the beach. I would recommend this property to a friend or relative because we liked the location of this property - it's in Heywoods (lovely neighborhood), it's near Speightstown where I did my food shopping and went to lunch at the Fisherman's Pub, and it's near the main road so bus transportation is easy.
