Relax and enjoy a day of sun and sand at either of our two private beaches in Indian Town. Enjoy wonderful sunsets, scenic views of the harbor from the gazebo on the green or stroll the jetty.
Our year-round home is a great location for walking, running and biking. We are minutes away from downtown Saybrook offering everything from a French bakery to an Irish pub, boutique shops, antique and furniture stores and coffee shops. There are a variety of restaurant choices in the area as well as movie theaters close by.
Our home has an open floor plan with a fully equipped kitchen, dining room and living room with cathedral ceiling. There are three bedrooms, a full bath and a half bath off the master bedroom. There is also an enclosed outside shower with hot & cold water.
Our location is ideal for day trips. Stroll through the charming sailing village of Essex with quaint New England shops, pubs and a ice cream parlor, located on the Connecticut River only five minutes away. Enjoy New England scenery on the historic Essex Steam Train or a River Boat cruise on the Connecticut River.
Spend a day in Mystic, a historic seaside village. Visit Mystic Aquarium or board a tall ship at Mystic Seaport. The Gillette Castle and park grounds are available for hiking and sight seeing.
For theatre buffs, there is the Goodspeed Opera House, Ivoryton Playhouse as well as the Katherine Hepburn Cultural Arts Center.
Old Saybrook is located mid-way between New York & Boston, a short train ride away.

What a wonderful cottage! Walking distance from our long-lost friends from Texas. We certainly made the correct decision staying with you. We are able to enjoy everything Old Saybropok has to offer in the winter from clear beautiful skies to a 2 day Nor'Eastern w/a foot of snow. We are already making plans to visit the Charleston, SC area this summer. Don't be surprised if we contact you again. Thanks again for everything...TX

Thank you for opening your home to us. Our trip to NY & CT was really fast paced but your place gave us 2 days to relax. It has been 30+ years since we were together touring on the east coast. Your home was inviting and just what we needed. Thanks for leaving the lights on for us. Now it is off to Brooklyn, NY for another first experience for our family. P.S. We loved the outside shower! Thank you for our 61st Anniversary in your Honeymoon Suite. We had a wonderful 10 days. Weather was beautiful also enjoyed the comfort of your cottage. Couldn't have been better.....Bob & Doris Could not have been a more perfect vacation, weather, accomodations, etc. Got some much needed exercise walking to the beach - but still believe we could have put some wear & tear on your golf cart - (We do appreciate your letting us "see" it though) Thank so much.....Louie & Treasa We had a memorable 1st vacation. We got to see family we haven't seen in years. Also a lot of beautiful country. It was nice to know that after each adventure we had a nice home to come back to.
