Located on beautiful 10,000 Acre lake and only 14 miles from Mammoth Cave State Park. Secluded home almost completely surrounded by woods. Gentle Slope to the water. Located in a quiet cove directly across from a marina on the main part of Barren River Lake.
The home is a 2005 model home with 1500 square feet and will accommodate 8 people easily with additional throw down mattress for 4 more. The area is flooded with tourist activities including Mammoth Cave, Dinosaur World, Kentucky Down Under, Guntown Mountain, and much much more.
Inside the home you will find a Big Screen Television with Dish Network Reception. There is a DVD and VCR provided as well as some videos for a rainy day. Glasgow is a small city only 20 minutes away and you have plenty of restaurants, movie theaters, sight-seeing, shopping, churches, and cultural activities.
There is a nice deck on the lake side of the home with a partial view of the lake. In the summer time the foliage is thick and the view is not as clear. In the fall and winter the lake level is dropped so that the water in the cove is drained. The trade off for the partial view of the water is the secluded quiet peace that the home provides.
