Pelican Beach Resort is first class with its amenities. The location is right across the street from the Big Kuhuna Water Park, and near many great restaurants. Pelican Beach Resort has 2 heated pools, one strictly outdoor (with waterfall) and an indoor/outdoor pool, a kiddy pool, kid zone(child care) sauna and a hot tub.
There is an extra large sun deck, great for tanning and socializing, located right next to the tiki hut, adjacent to the pool. In addition, there is a work out facility, game room, umbrella and chair rentals, tennis and basketball court, security at the entrance, covered parking, and a seasonal deli/restaurant/convenience store on site.
Located on the 7th floor where ocean/beach views can been seen from the living room, kitchen, dining room, and master bedroom, our 2 bedroom/ 2 bath condo comes fully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. This condo has all the comforts of home such as Flat Screen LCD TVs, DVD player, and IPod docking stations in every room. This is a deluxe-plus rated unit at Pelican Beach, the highest rating possible.
Tile flooring in the living area with carpet in bedrooms. The kitchen features granite countertops with accent track lighting allowing you to create your own mood. The kitchen has all the utensils needed to make a gourmet meal or just a snack. The master bedroom has a king-size bed with its own bathroom. The 2nd bedroom has 2 twin pillow-top beds with full bath. The sleeper sofas in the living area are outstanding and incredibly comfortable. There is a full size washer and dryer, perfect for those extended stays in Destin.
The condo is a corner unit on the east end of the building, giving our guests the best of views... the glistening sand and the vast blue-green waters of the Emerald Coast. Plan your day in paradise as you sip your morning coffee on your private balcony overlooking the sunrise as it shimmers across the crystal clear water.
Many of the restaurants nearby are landmarks in Destin. Silver Sands, a large factory outlet mall is seven miles east. The brand new Destin Commons outdoor shopping mall is at the corner of the Mid Bay Bridge and Hwy 98. It has a huge movie theatre complex, Hard Rock Cafe, Bass Pro Fishing shop, Johnnie Rockets, and all the mall shops you have come to know and love in a beautiful outdoor setting. Fort Walton Beach has a new pier to fish off of that is wonderful. Deep sea fishing is right up the street! Destin was a fishing town before it was anything else, so you can come home with quite a catch!!

We just wanted ALL theamenities, close to the beach, at a super property but for a reasonable price...Bingo. Updates/upgrades everywhere, but with a home-feeling, all right on the beach. Loved it and will DEFINITLEY come back to this unit!

This was exactly as pictured! Absolutley beautiful!! Very clean! we loved being on the corner, it was sooooo convienient. The elevator was right next to our room which made it so easy to get up and down quickly and made lugging everything everyday to the beach or car NOT a huge chore. This condo was decorated so tastefully. The pool area and beach area are very pretty! The little cafe at the resort had great food and no too expensive. The people who work at this cafe are so friendly.The two rooms next to this condo are owned and occupied by the owners. There is no chance of getting next to someone loud. They are wonderful people. I can't wait to return!

This condo is wonderfully updated and deocorated. Two other families vacationed with us in other Pelican Beach units and they were jealous when they saw this condo! The pool was nice and clean (not too hard to get chairs). We rented an umbrella/chairs at the beach and were pleased at the proximity to the water. We had a great vacation... thank you!

We loved the condo..we stayed for a week starting april 24th! We had wonderful weather, and your condo is our new favorite place!..decorated just as I would decorate!. We have been coming to the Pelican for year, and still love love love it! we will be back and will request your condo every time

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our vacation! We loved using the new appliances and entertainment equipment. The decor was bright, new, and clean. Granite countertops, plush couches, pillowtop bedding, and flat screen TVs made us feel like we are in a 5-star hotel. The foldout couches made for easy conversion from daytime living space to nighttime sleeping for our children with privacy for us. The panoramic view from the 7th floor of the beach and surrounding Destin was stunning! We loved having coffee on the balcony watching the sunrise. The grounds, pool, bbq grills, and beach area were all well maintained. Destin is the perfect vacation spot, and Pelican Beach Resort is in the perfect location to take advantage of everything close by – fishing, shopping, restaurants, nightlife, and of course the amazing beach. Can't say enough good things ... We will be back for sure! Thanks for a great stay.
