Welcome to Woodhaven Country Club! We’ve enjoyed so many outstanding desert experiences over the past nine years since we have owned our condo here. The beauty of the property and the landscaping has been so well maintained, and each time we visit we are amazed by the stunning views and awesome scenery that surrounds us. We decided to update our unit and make it available for rentals on a weekly basis. Here are some of the highlights of our condo, the development and the overall community.
Our unit is on the south side of the complex and looks across expansive views of the lush green golf course. We are located in the middle of the 7th fairway, not far from a water feature and surrounded on three sides by looming mountains in the distance. The amazing variety of trees, featuring tall graceful palm trees frames every vista. The gentle contour of green fairways and the endless blue skies invite egrets and hummingbirds, and the sweet aroma of the abundant citrus trees is unbeatable.
We just completed a renovation of our 2 bedroom unit. It’s been all repainted including the ceilings in a soft and inviting desert palette. The kitchen has all brand new stainless steel appliances including a convection oven and fridge with a water purification system. We’ve upgraded the patio furnishings and feature a Viking BBQ gas grill. There are new light fixtures and improvements to all aspects right down to the kitchen sink!
The main living area opens onto the patio. Inside we have a contemporary setting with a safari theme. The artwork, furnishings and atmosphere are clean and comfortable. There is a gas fireplace, beautiful rugs, a marble dining table, lacquered chairs, comfortable stools, armchairs, a soft couch and steel drum coffee tables. The comfort is only surpassed by the layout. Tall ceilings, soft lighting, modern accents and a spacious feel all combine to create a relaxing atmosphere.
Every necessity is provided – coffeemaker, toaster, blender, juicer, etc. it’s all here. All the dishes and glassware needed to entertain or just relax. Move effortlessly from the kitchen to the dining room, living room or patio. Close by are the saltwater pools and hot tub. Pool areas have showers, bathrooms, lounge chairs and shaded tables. The clubhouse has a gym, restaurant and golf pro shop. The regulation golf course is open to the public and has special rates for Woodhaven owners and guests. There is a driving range and practice facility. There are 8 tennis courts, (4 lighted) and a tennis pro on site. The complex entrance is well lit and secure with 24 hour security. We also have a garage with a remote control door opener. Abundant restaurants and shopping are right outside the gate and the communities of La Quinta, Indian Wells, Rancho Mirage and Palm Springs are all nearby.
Every year in March, the first major professional tennis tournament in America occurs at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden located within two miles of Woodhaven. Rancho Mirage with its golf tournaments, the PGA courses and over 100 other golf courses are all nearby. Hiking in the mountains, desert preserves and wilderness areas are spectacular. Joshua Tree National Monument is a short drive away and the Living Desert is a worthwhile sanctuary for experiencing desert habitat.
