View from backyard - Dellroy, OH - Ohio Cabin Rental - Near Canton This getaway was built in 1999 and designed with an open concept to enjoy indoor and outdoor living to the fullest. Being only 6 seasons old, the cabin still has that new house feel. The first floor consists of two bedrooms, one with a queen size bed, the other with bunk beds for two children. A full bath and laundry closet with new washer and dryer are nearby. The remainder of the first floor is a large commons area including living room, kitchen and dining area. All of this is under an 18 foot cathederal ceiling. From the living room area you walk out onto a 12' by 24' covered deck with table, chairs and porch swing. On the second floor there is a large loft bedroom with a queen size bed overlooking the common area. From the deck you can enjoy looking down on your children and/or grandchildren playing on the swingset, roasting marshmallows at the fire ring or challenging each other to a game of basketball. Please note the cabin is about a five minute walk to the lake it is not lakefront. This cabin is ideal for 1 or 2 small families with enjoyment in mind. Please be reminded the sleeping capacity is six with room for four adults and two children. If you are planning a vacation for a large group please look at the other listings. NO PETS AND NO SMOKING. Failure to abide by these two rules may subject you to immediate eviction or forfeit of entire deposit. The lake area itself offers many sites and adventures including the following at Atwood lodge: lighted par three golf course, 18 hole golf course, tennis and newly remodeled restaurant and lounge. The two marinas on Atwood Lake offer full line of boat rental, full service restaurant, fishing, bait and tackle supplies. Atwood Lake Park offers very large beach area, numerous playground area, outdoor activities, weekly activities in the clubhouse and miles of hiking trails. The closest town is Dellroy. Dellroy has a post office, grocery store, gas station, and dairy isle year around. Local attractions include 5 additional 18 hole public golf courses within 20 minutes of the cabin, Tuscora Park, Trumpet in the Land Amphitheatre, Warthers Museum and Reeve's Museum in Dover/New Philadelphia, Holmes county where you can enjoy amish country and President McKinley monument and the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton. Be reminded cell phones do not always pick up a signal on or near the lake.
