I would definitely rent this house again. It is a great house in the Deepwell area. The living space is huge with two living rooms, really. It is a beautiful open space from the kitchen through to the dining area to the living rooms. We had our teenager with us for the entire week and had friends visit on each weekend. The space allowed us all to be together with the option of our teenager moving across to the other seating arrangement to watch tv. The real highlight of the house is the great pool and the huge pool area with plenty of room for chaise lounges, a big dining table, built in spa and firepit. It really is fabulous outdoor space. The pool is situated for maximum sun and is very private with a beautiful view of the snow capped mountains. The only very slight downside is that the 2 bedrooms share a bathroom. The 3rd full bathroom is off the living area. Small inconvenience but not perfect. It was not a big enough issue to have us not rent this great house again.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing, people with disabilities, families with young children.
Owner response: Thank you, Kate, for writing. We're delighted your stay was a success and would of course welcome a return visit. Best, Henry, Melina, Gillian and Pozo itself.

Simply perfect. Nothing is overlooked at this stylish, art filled sophisticated home. Waking up to the orange sunrise reflecting on the mountains with the palm trees standing sentry is unforgettable. The full moon reflecting on the pool demanded an evening swim and was a magical experience. We slept like the dead on the comfortable bed in the master and the kitchen is amazingly equipped and fit for a master chef. We rode the cruiser bikes every morning into town for breakfast and then felt justified with an afternoon of relaxing around the dreamy pool with our G&T's and books. We have been visiting Palm Springs for many years and never thought anything could compete with the Ingleside Inn. We were wrong. Pozo Profundo will be our headquarters from now on. Thank you for a memorable and relaxing week.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing, people with disabilities.

I stayed at this wonderful house with a few of my girlfriends over the weekend and our stay definitely exceeded our expectations. The preparation for this vacation was a piece of cake. Every question and concern was responded to immediately. The house was easy to find and only a couple minutes from Downtown Palm Springs, as well as the Ralphs that we made several quick visits to! Upon our arrival and departure, Ric was very prompt and reliable. When we arrived, we were amazed at how well-kept and clean the house was. We felt like we were the first ones to be staying there! The several lounge chairs, firepit, and lovely palm trees made the gorgeous backyard perfect for us - not to mention how safe and comfortable the privacy made us feel. The floorplan is open and very well-designed, and the furniture is modern, tasteful and fun. It seemed like the towel supply was endless! The kitchen is sensational and perfectly equipped. We took advantage of the iPod dock and listened to music at a decent level without any noise complaints, which we were initially worried about. We used the grill for hot dogs and hamburgers and the blender for some margaritas. The driveway and garage were large and convenient. It was everything we hoped for and more, and I would definitely recommend this house to any of my friends. We're thinking about making this trip an annual tradition and we'd love to stay at the Pozo Profundo next year!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.
Owner response: We are so pleased that you enjoyed your stay at Pozo Profundo and will look forward to hearing from you next year. Thank you! The Eversole Family

Thank you so much for allowing us the opportunity to stay in this lovely house. Without getting into micro-details, everything was as good or better as was depicted on the website. The house is in a fantastic location, it is beautifully and tastefully furnished, and it is generous with amenities, such as extra sheets and towels. We loved being able to walk to Elmer's for breakfast, and shop at the nearby Jensen's. We settled right into a comfortable routine. We had everything we needed. The concierge Ric was very responsive, and a few minor problems were addressed quickly and courteously. We could not have been happier. We are looking forward to returning.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing, people with disabilities, families with young children.

This was a great place in a great neighborhood. The house is spacious and has an excellent vibe. You can feel it the second you walk through the door. I could go on and on how wonderful of a stay my family and I had during our three days, seriously. Everything we needed was provided by this wonderful home. The owners were great and the property manager Ric was very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. We can not wait to go back, and I have already told the rest of my family and friends to stay here when they get a chance. You should do the same.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.

Perfect Palm Springs House! My husband and I rented this house with another couple and it was absolutely perfect for the 4 of us. The house was very spacious so everyone had privacy. We had private bathrooms each plus a third in the living area. There was also an extra bedroom with 2 single beds that shares a bathroom with one of the bedrooms which would be perfect for kids or teenagers. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking and we made use of the outdoor grill that was provided. The grocery store was close as was the Palm Springs strip (but driving is suggested). Most of our time was spent outdoors in and around the pool and hot tub. To sum it up we spent three nights at this house and only left for one dinner and to go to the grocery store a couple of times - that is how wonderful it was. The owner, concierge and everyone else supporting the rental process were very friendly and efficient. An extremely memorable and positive experience!Did you find this review helpful? Owner info
Year Purchased: 2008
About the owner: Pozo Profundo is owned by two sisters and their brother who grew up spending holidays and weekends at Smoke Tree Ranch in the 1960's. We returned in 2008 looking for a property that could rekindle those happy memories. We found it...now, so have you...
Why the Owner Chose Deepwell:
Deepwell is old PS...quiet, well maintained, palm trees lit at night, mountains close enough to touch (ok, you can walk to them), and in the case of Pozo Profundo, NO WIRES. Wires are the bane of Palm Springs, always compromising one's view. Not here.
It's fun to live in the neighborhood favored by so many of the greats: William Holden, Loretta Young & husband designer Jean Louis, Jack Webb and wife Julie London, for a few years at any rate, but they lived next door to one another for years. She later married Bobby Troupe, who wrote Route 66, and Julie was a good actress and a great singer. YouTube Julie London 'Perfidia' and you will get the idea.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
View, Location, Original Art, Location, Peace and Privacy, Location, South PS Location Protects from Afternoon Winds (windmills are far to the North), Location, Great Fun....
