The home is centrally located in between the Cottonwood canyons (Snowbird, Alta, Solitude, & Brighton ski resorts), Parleys Canyon to Park City, and downtown. Driving time is less than 10 minutes ?to any of the canyons, 15 minutes to downtown and the University of Utah, and 5 minutes ?from Westminster College.
Tenants have full access to the condo facility's recreation building, which is located directly across the street and includes a pool, spa, sauna, gym (bikes and treadmills), and lounge area.
The condo itself boasts most every amenity imaginable, including 3 TVs with satellite Direct TV, WIFI, jacuzzi tub in the master bedroom, and a gas fireplace. The kitchen is fully equipped to handle any cooking ?needs with dining-ware to accommodate up to 9 people. The house has a large 2-car garage. Directly outside of the garage to the right is a basketball court (basketball in the garage!)
The property is nearby to every amenity Salt Lake city has to offer, such as the adjacent park, nearby golf course, shopping mall, grocery store, and many restaurants. Of course there is the skiing and shopping in both Salt Lake City and Park City, which is just a short drive away.
The blending of nature and city makes Salt Lake City so unique.
Tourism is highest in the winter, but there are so very many summer opportunities to explore. Many locals would say it is the best and cheapest time to visit Utah. Some of the best national park land, mountain biking, hiking, and climbing can all be found here. The ski resorts also offer many summer activities including rides up the mountain for some non-strenuous site seeing or for avid downhill bikers who want some serious vertical!
During winter, the Cottonwood Canyons offer some of the finest opportunities to enjoy the snow in the world. Brighton is wonderful for snowboarding and beginner skiers. Snowbird and Alta offer some of the premiere world skiing. Want more trees and less crowds? Give Solitude a try. There are also opportunities for nordic skiing, skate skiing, backcountry skiing (don't go without an experienced guide!!), and some good old-fashion sledding. It is a short drive to reach the canyon access to get to Park City. Park City Village is wonderful to visit and shop, but you can't beat Salt Lake City for the snow, amenities, and prices!
