  My family and extended family had a great time this summer up in Delavan. The house was beautiful. A huge kitchen to cook in, a nice grill to barbeque on, three dining areas inside and one outside overlooking the lake. Plenty of room to relax – in the family room, the sun room overlooking the lake, the deck, the pier, or the lower deck. If you just need to get away, choose one of 5 bedrooms or jump in the car to take a drive to one of the many close destinations or take a walk along the lake on the path. It was soooo relaxing. I slept great and felt reenergized. Such a gorgeous house, it was hard to leave the beauty and peace. I will definitely go back.

  My family has spent our last 3 summer vacations at this home. That is about 15 of us from ages 2 - 75. We love it!! It is a great place for any age to have fun and relax. There is a pier with space to pull up a rental boat, great for the kids. Then there's a bonfire pit for night time s'mores, a beautiful deck to gril on and enjoy the amazing view of the lake. There are grocery stores within a 5 minute drive and some restaurants/bars within walking distance. The downtown area of Lake Geneva is also close, about a 10-15 minute drive. The house was fully equipped with enough towels, sheets, blankets, dishes, just about any necessity. We plan to make another trip there this coming summer, I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a great place for family fun! :)

  I stayed at The Delavan Lake Home for one week with my parents, husband, three children, one sister, her husband, two children, my brother, his wife and their 3 children. It was one of the best vacations we ever had!!! The home is beautiful and very clean! It is also very large and was well able to accommodate all of us with ease. We loved the wide open views of the lake which you could clearly see from the sunroom, dining room, family room kitchen and even the mud room! There was also a large deck with beautiful furniture and a gas grill. We really enjoyed grilling and eating on the deck as the boats were passing by! We loved walking along the lake in the morning and the evenings with the kids. There was plenty to do and the guys caught a lot of fish right from the pier! We were only minutes a way from Down Town Delavan and Lake Geneva. We were able to tie our boat up to the homes pier too. One evening we took the boat across the lake to The Village Restaurant. The kids got a kick out of taking a boat to a restaurant instead of a car! The cost was very minimal especially when split between all of us. A hotel would have cost a fortune plus we would have been separated by hotel rooms. We are booked again for this summer and cant wait to get back to Delavan Lake!!

  I rented this house for a family reunion last year and was very happy with it. The house is a great location on a nice stretch of lake delavan. This was our first trip to the area, so we weren't too familiar with it but we picked well. Loved the walking trail going around the lake and how quite the place was. The fire pit and docks were our favorite hangout places, but the inside of the house was nice too. The was plenty of parking too which was nice. The only negative that I can think of was the rental process was a bit more of a pain than previous places I've rented from VBRO with the owner wanting all payments in cashier's check/money order and wanting all the tenants info but it was well worth it in the end because the place was really nice and a great deal so I would gladly go thru that again.
