Brian Head cabin description
Our cozy cabin is tucked away in the woods of Brian Head, but still accessible year round. Minutes away from Brian Heads Giant Steps and Navajo Ski lifts. Great get away for family reunions, and gatherings. Fabulous place to tour the mountain side on mountain bikes (we provide two bikes.) Fishing is nearby in the beautiful Panguitch Lake as well as stream fishing. Very quiet and peaceful. A nice place to enjoy cool temperatures in the hot summer months.
Our family cabin is ready for you to unpack your bags and settle in for a relaxing getaway in the mountains. Equipped with all your needs as if you never left home. The kitchen is fully stocked so all you will need is to make your last stop in St George or Cedar City with your grocery list. The cabin sleeps 6 – 8 very comfortably with a soft queen bed in one room along with aset of bunk beds. The living room is open with ample seating to enjoy the fireplace (wood provided), cable TV with VCR and board games after a day of adventure with family and friends.
Brian Head is close to Zion national park Bryce canyon , Cedar Breaks National Monument , and Capital reef . Cedar city is only thirty minutes away and is host to the nationally acclaimed Utah Shakespeare festival plus many other activities.
The cool summers make Brian Head an ideal summer getaway from the heat in the valleys. Mountain biking, ATV riding, hiking, and fishing all make Brian Head your best choice for a mountain vacation. Independence day in Brian Head is a blast! Fireworks can be seen for miles around.
This cabin was newly refurbished inside and out. Beautiful scenery, and very close to nearby towns that offer other activities as well. Near, Parawon, Panguitch, Panguitch Lake, and Cedar City.

We absolutely loved the cabin and location. It is a great get away and base for going to multiple parks. Thank you for the many brochures in the drawer. We would have missed the Parowan Petroglyphs without them! We also loved the Parowan Cafe. We would suggest putting the tv lower as the only comfortable way to view is by slouching down in the sofa. With 3 of us it worked but with more, it could be tough. Another suggestion is to have a comprehensive list of directions and information at the cabin. Believe it or not, we had never seen a hot chocolate maker and had no idea how to use it! Most of the other appliances are in their boxes with directions so that helped. Also, extra batteries for the remotes would be great. We found the remote for the dvd in the drawer without batteries and had to move them back and forth between remotes to make them work. We would very much like to return and have told many friends about it!

Winter Holiday in the Snow!
Wanted to say thank you again for letting us stay in your cabin...we had a great time. Lots of fresh snow. It was pretty cold too. The snow was deep driving up your drive way....our 4 wheel drive really came in handy. We loved the hot chocolate maker.....we are going to buy one.

We just returned from our first visit to Brian Head, and thanks to the Moose Tracks Lodge, we will be back again and again! This little cabin is exactly what you imagine a cozy little cabin in the woods should be like. It was recently remodeled and the decor is cabin chic. Absolutely loved it. Beds were very clean and comfortable. Kitchen was well appointed with everything you would need during your stay, including a hot cocoa maker! (The kids, of course, begged for that each morning.) The cabin is tucked back in the trees so you feel secluded (in a good way) and have plenty of privacy. Yet the lifts are just around the corner and Cedar Breaks is just up the road. Overall, the cabin was extremely clean and well kept up. The wood-burning stove was fantastic on a rainy, chilly morning. There are games in the loft that we played around the kitchen table. Also, a fire pit out in the trees that we used one night to prepare smores with the children. All in all, it was a dream getaway. We all fell in love with this little cabin and will definitely return. I applaud the owners for offering a reasonable rental price so that families can get away and explore a different part of beautiful Utah without spending a fortune. THANK YOU!!
