Historic Log Cabin located directly on the banks of the Frying Pan River. The Cabin at Lodge at River's Edge consists of a fully equipped kitchen, living room with cable TV and wireless internet, a bedroom with a queen bed and an open air loft with two twin beds. The cabin was originally built by Colorado Midland Railroad workers in 1896, it was restored a century later in 1996. The cabin was renovated again in 2005. The cabin is decorated in an elegant mountain style and includes luxurious linens, comfy robes, down pillows, radiant in-floor heating and all the amenities you would expect at a nice hotel. The sliding glass door opens up to the views and sounds of the Frying Pan River rushing by.
The cabin is the perfect place to escape on your vacation. It feels very private yet it is located only one block to the charming town of Basalt. It is a beautiful, quick 5 minute walk to all the restaurants and shops located in town. There is a private flagstone sitting area for the cabin guests to relax next to the River. The cabin sits on two secluded acres along with the main lodge.
