- Gas/Electric BBQ Grill : We tried this but guest continually forgot to turn the gas off so it became evident we could not provide this without being hooked up to the city gas. We cannot do that so switched to the BBQ grill and it has worked perfect ever since.
- Charcoal BBQ Grill : charcole grill is provided. Just bring charcole and fluid.
- Deck/Patio : Lots of room on the patio that is paved to join the pavement that surrounds the pool. Two gates to enter the pool from the patio and to the steps into the water.
- Balcony : All three bedrooms and the dining/living room have their own balcony. In the evening, Relax on your own private balcony and listen to the waves. It is just like a dream.
- Lanai : Under roof - car parking, patio, dining table, BBQ gas grill is all safe and secure under roof for your total enjoyment in sun or rain.

- Beachfront : Few places in Mexico Beach are actually "beach front." We do not want to destroy our beautiful beaches with construction. We are the 6th house back from the beach as the road runs next to the sand in most places. We are the 6th house from the beach. The view walking to the beach is at the end of the photos.
- Ocean View : peek - a - boo view of the ocean through the trees especially out the back balcony. feel the breeze and hear the waves as they come in from the front balcony.

- No Pets Allowed : We love our pets but we never know what someone else's pet is going to do. We are sorry we had to change our rules and incorporate a no pet rule. That was not our first choice.
- Kid Friendly : This is a great house for kids because parents can keep a close watch on them while they BBQ or do other things since it is a private residence.
- Minimum Age Limit for Renters : We prefer the people actually doing the renting be a married couple.
- Smoking Not Allowed : Absolutely NO SMOKING. Smoking is considered damage to the house.

- July 2012 is almost filled. Itis not too early to make your reservation. We are so close to the beach and have a private pool for our home, iti is totally reserved by the end of Feb. If you want this home for your vacation in 2012, please call us now to secure your vacation time. Many activities are very close. Tyndall Air Force Base has a remote beach accessible by vehicle and walking for rare finds on shells early in the morning. We have information in the house but also encourage you to visit the Chamber of commerce right down the street for all the information you can find for community activities. CHURCH: if you need a great church: Oak Grove Church, Pastor James Wiley, 613 Madison St. Port St. Joe, Fl. 227-1837. Turn left on 98, through town of Port St. Joe and continue about 1 mile. Turn Left at the OAK GROVE sign (that is Madison St.) turn left and the church is about 3 or 4 blocks on the left. Port St. Joe is one hour ahead of Mexico Beach (Eastern Standard time).

We have been married 41 years. If we had life to live over again, we would have moved to Mexico Beach early in our marriage and raised our children there. In lieu of that choice, we have become part time residents.

If you ever go to Mexico Beach, that will be the end of trying to find another place for your vacation. It is the BEST !
The Unique Benefits of this House
We are one minute to the beach and can walk just about anywhere in Mexico Beach from the house, especially to the beach. The beaches are not crowded. The people are wonderful and friendly.
Our home is the ONLY one with a private pool. That is the winner of all winners. Families with children really find it great as you can only stay at the beach so long when you have young kids. Our home makes it possible to walk back and forth all day and make a beach trip several times a day rather than being stuck there all the time or coming in the house and having nothing to do. We have the pool that takes the stress from staying on the beach all the time. It is the best of both worlds. The beach and a Retreat from the beach with a salt water pool.. It doesn't get any better than that.

We really enjoyed this home! The photos do it justice - it is as beautiful as it looks! Literally a stone's throw to the beach, but it is quiet, since the house sits on a side street from the main drag. The beach cart came in very handy! The people in Mexico Beach are a nice combination of visitors and locals. Everyone was very friendly! Directions to the property and instructions for finding and operating things in the home are very organized and well thought out. We recommend Mango Marley's for a wonderful meal and live music! I am looking for a place to bring my mother in the winter in Florida - and were it not for the stairs, I would definitely rent this property! Thank you, Borgesons, for a wonderful stay.

This is an incredible house. The privacy, yet all the comfort of our own home by the beach. We love the pool and especially the fact that it is private. Everything is well prepared. Perfect for a vacation from stress!
