Heggeland is a 3 acre peninsula on the east side of Baileys Harbor on Lake Michigan.
You can wake up and enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning and watch the sunrise, or sit down and enjoy the sunset views in the evening. The house is well kept and very updated with the latest amenities. The two bedrooms have queen size beds and the enclosed loft has 2 double beds and 2 single beds. There is also an optional pullout queen sofa sleeper.
The shoreline is mainly a rocky shoreline with great bass fishing, but there is also a lagoon and depending on the year some beach area (depends on lake conditions). Just a short distance to town, you can shop or have a wide variety of dining options. There is also great swimming, fishing and hiking. Heggeland does offer an optional boat slip, please inquire when making your reservation or in advance of your stay.
