Cottage No. 3 has two bedrooms, and is one of 6 Cottages in this 19th Century Coast Guard building - sensitively restored in the 1990's. It is situated on 3 acres in the Renvyle Pennisula and overlooks Gurteen Harbor, white sandy beaches and the Connemara mountains. Crough Patrick is in the distance. The ocean and mountain views are spectacular.
The first (ground) floor has a sun room leading to the kitchen/dining area, and sitting room with a woodburning fireplace. There is a new 1/2 bath on the first floor. We have just installed a brand new kitchen with granite counters, and all new appliances including a dishwasher and washingmackine. Upstairs are two bedrooms, one overlooking the ocean with queen size bed and vanity basin. The other small bedroom has a single bed with matching single trundle bed. The bathroom is brand new, tiled with a tub and power shower. There is a separate storage area with washer and dryer. Heating is central.
Tully is a small village with an excellent grocery store. Pubs and restaurants along with golf are all nearby. The extensive white sandy beaches close to the station offer excellent facilities for swimming, surfing, and sailing.
