Why the Owner Chose Mt. Crested Butte
My husband is from Colorado and the first time he visited CB was when he was 12 years old on a family fishing trip. He remembers looking out the car window and thinking that this was the most beautiful valley he had ever seen. A few decades later we feel the same way every single time we drive through the valley to come up to our home in Mt. Crested Butte.
When we decided to buy a home here, we looked at about 50 properties in different parts of Crested Butte and settled on this one for three reasons: (1) it has the BEST view of any other condo on the mountain, and even though we sit perched up high above busier areas, everything is very close by foot or the public shuttle so you don’t always have to use your car (2) The interior was recently completely remodeled with natural stone, upgraded amenities and custom painting, (3) This is not a condo but a town home with an attached garage, which makes it feel much more like a private residence rather than living in a condo or apartment complex.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
We love the outdoors and we are close to it ALL up here in Mt. Crested Butte. We also have many local friends and love going to town for dinner, movies and music. The historic town of CB is just five minutes away by car or the free shuttle bus that runs every 20 minutes to/from our condo, the base area, and the town of CB. Minutes away by foot, you can partake in all the activities at the base area & ski village, yet live and sleep in a comfortable spot that is quiet and private, since we are perched above the ski village itself.
We have gone out of our way to make our home comfortable for you and we are always looking for ways to improve your rental experience. We want you, your friends and your family to come back again and again and hopefully you will see improvements and changes each time you return.
Call us at anytime with questions about activities, restaurants, hiking trails or any thing else about Crested Butte. We would love to share our experiences with you and ensure that you have an amazing time in this mountain paradise.
Owner's Map of Mt. Crested Butte
We are avid travelers, hikers and scuba divers who are always looking for our next international adventure. After traveling and working in multiple countries on five continents we look forward to coming back again and again to Crested Butte. We have been visiting CB together for 12 years, multiple times a year and we hope to be able to get our jobs to the point that we can work remotely and live here full time.
When you get here you will immediately see why Crested Butte ranked top 10 on many magazine's best places to live and play in America, why it is also called the "last great ski town in America" and why the locals simply call it "Paradise".

We've stayed at this home two times for several weeks. It has everything you need for a relaxing vacation or business trip. The kitchen is equipped nicely and with the open living arrangement on the second floor it is easy to visit or watch TV while cooking. The beds are comfortable and allows for sleeping as many nights as you want without a back ache. The location is great for folks with one car because downtown and hiking trails are just a short walk away if the car is being used. The home is nicely maintained & looks great but it's not so perfect you're afraid to sneeze without messing something up. The neighborhood is mostly locals who are very friendly & helpful. The owner is easy to communicate with and very fair. We will definitely be staying here again many times.

We spent Labor Day Weekend 2011 in Crested Butte this year and were lucky enough to have rented this great condo. It was the perfect refuge for our family of three. Our three year old daughter Ava loved the place and couldn't stop talking about the "purple beds." When you have a three year old, it's critical to have all the comforts of home. This place has them! One drawback of this place is that it's so comfortable and cozy that you may get stuck here rather than going out downtown in Crested Butte, which is a very short drive or bike ride away. The ride back would be tougher than the ride down, but you could always take the bus, which runs often. There's a playground not far away up the road for summer time fun for the kids and there are tons of activities at the base of the ski hill. We can only imagine how awesome this place would be during the winter and we're already planning on reserving it again this winter. We hope we get lucky with some powder. This would be a great location if you have kids who don't ski yet and you need to switch off with your significant other. It's that close to the mountain. From the balconies, you also have a bird's eye view of conditions on the mountain. There are a lot of great things to say about this property. It's clean, comfortable and the amenities solid. The condo is nothing compared to Crested Butte, however. CB is one of the coolest locations in Colorado. World class skiing, mountain biking, hiking, wildflowers, four wheeling, etc. This condo makes it possible to enjoy all of these things more fully because you can relax at the end of the day and plan the next day of epic-ness. Our family trip was great and we look forward to another one!

I have stayed in many Colorado getaway condo's and have to say this was my favorite. Not only is the condo in immaculate condition, but the price was well worth it!! The view, location and scenery were second to none. If you are a fly fisherman, mountain biker, 4 wheeler, skier, hiker this place is a must have. Thanks for the memories...

I had a great stay at this condo in Mt Crested Butte. It is in a perfect location with great views. The condo was very clean and comfortable. Large kitchen and three levels. There is a bus shuttle pickup as well right in front of the place to take you in town. Activities we did were hiking, fly fishing, and golfing. Crested Butte has some of the best trails and fly fishing Colorado offers and the golf course is one of the best in the state as well.

My wife and I spent three nights in Crested Butte in summer of 2010. The town home was right across the ski slope and we could see mountain bikers riding down the mountain. We saw a beautiful double rainbow on the mountain from the living room balcony. The rooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable

Seeing the hummingbirds outside the windows was a wonderful welcome to your condo. There was space enough for a large family and views that didn't end. I especially enjoyed the wildflower viewing on the many trails surrounding Crested Butte. My wife and I will definitely return!

I highly recommend this condo during a stay in Crested Butte. I was there for a week earlier this summer and was very impressed by the high quality kitchen (you just want to live there!) and bathrooms. The entire place is immaculate and offers everything you might need during your stay (lots of cookware, TV, DVD player, etc.) I stayed in the top level bedroom, which was very private and enjoyed beautiful views of columbines out the window. The master bedroom is very large with a private deck. There's also a deck off the main living room, where I enjoyed many a morning coffee with a view of Mt. Crested Butte. The location is very central and convenient. Luckily, I had a car - but the shuttle stop is very near. Definitely felt like home away from home - not your typical mountain rental.

We have just returned from our fourth stay at this property which has become a very comfortable home away from home in tremendously beautiful Crested Butte and surrounding area. We love the serenity of the condo in its location at Mt. Crested Butte and the access to extraordinarily beautiful hiking in summer wildflowers and fall colors. Seeing an occasional fox or bear adds to an already perfect stay in this perfect condo.

My family came here last summer for hiking and viewing the wildflowers. The hiking was stunning but autumn in Crested Butte is beautiful, also. The condo is nicely decorated, great amenities, nice balcony off the livingroom and was plenty of room for our group of 6. The location has great access to shopping and dining in town, also. I have recommended this property to my co-workers and friends.
