Located minutes from Chester, Swiftsure Cottage is a brand new 2 bedroom, 2 bath cottage overlooking the tranquil waters of Deep Cove. Sailors have described Deep Cove as a shelter from the storm and our cottage will also allow you to truly get away from it all. Swiftsure Cottage combines modern amenities with the surrounds of nature, you will not lack for anything in this tastefully decorated home.
Sit back and enjoy the views on the over sized patio, paddle your kayak around the Cove, or sail the waters of Mahone Bay straight from the shared dock. For the kids; beautiful sand beaches are only minutes away, they can cast their fishing line into one of the best fishing coves on the South Shore, or you can hike up nearby Deep Cove Mountain.
You are right in the centre of the best Nova Scotia has to offer. The city of Halifax, steeped in history and rich in culture, is only 40 minutes to the north east and summer festivals abound. The South Shore towns of Chester, Mahone Bay, and Lunenburg are a scenic drive to the south west along the world famous Lighthouse Route.
This single story ocean view cottage is perfect for a relaxing family getaway with its large open living spaces. The living room and kitchen feature vaulted ceilings and an abundance of windows to take in the amazing ocean view. The gourmet kitchen, complete with an island for entertaining, has granite counter tops and high end appliances. Let the sea breeze flow through the French doors overlooking the cove while enjoying an after dinner dessert or glass of wine.
Every seat in the living room ensures amazing views of the cove, but if you can take your eyes off the incredible scenery for a moment, you will enjoy one of two HD Plasma TV’s.
The large master bedroom with en suite bath is fitted with a Queen sized bed with warm duvet to ensure a great nights’ sleep after exploring all the area has to offer. An abundance of natural light flows through the numerous windows.
The second bedroom features two single beds with duvets that can be combined into a king sized, if you prefer.
This high end cottage features radiant in-floor heating throughout, and a propane fireplace in the living room for those cooler evenings. There is a front load washer and dryer for your convenience, and we have also ensured that the cottage comes fully equipped for the little ones. You can leave your crib, high chair and bed rails at home because as parents we know just how much we appreciate not having to pack these necessities.
Outside, enjoy the amazing ocean view while preparing the catch of the day on the gas barbecue or relaxing in the Adirondack Chairs on the large stamped concrete patio.
