An architectural showpiece, SandCastle Pointe features soft arches, grand spiral staircases, lighted domes and curved lines throughout. The top floor boasts two master suites that overlook the breathtaking turquiose waters of Shoal Bay East. Each air-conditioned suite is tastefully decorated in minimalist style featuring king-sized beds, Ralph Lauren bedding, eclectic art pieces, whisper quiet ceiling fans and large ensuite bathrooms.
Two additional guest bedrooms with ensuite baths reside off the main level with equally gorgeous views of the ocean and surrounding grounds. These rooms feature queen-sized beds, air-conditioning, ceiling fans, rare artpieces and soft lighting.
The main floor offers ceiling to floor "windows to the sea" that automatically open at the touch of a button and disappear into the walls to reveal sweeping views of the large pool deck, infinity edged pool and the endless blue of the ocean just beyond. a beautiful wraparound veranda is the perfect spot for lounging or al fresco dining, day and night. A whole villa music system has been installed with speakers in both indoor and pool deck locations so you can enjoy individually in your bedrooms or together in the main living area. A standing ledge has been installed at the infinity edge so you can wade out with a drink and enjoy watching boats sail or motor by and listen and enjoy the sight and sound of the waves crashing on the rocks.
The villa's design allows continuous eastern trade winds to meander through the spacious living and dining areas adjacent to the pool deck, the state of the art Poggenpohl kitchen, and the billiard room. A large inviting mid-century sofa adorns the living room and the dining table seats ten in style and is ideal for dinners served in tropical elegance. We stayed there for two weeks in Jan 2010...the most incredable villa we have ever stayed in. Staff was wonderful, the house is immaculate and has everything you would ever need...coffee maker is die for! Ice maker, wine frig, 2 refrigerators, grill. 6 bathrooms. 2 master bedrooms, magnificiant outside tile showers. The sunsets! The views! The location...best beach in the islands. We looked at many villa's before deciding on SandCastlePointe...so glad we chose it!
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.
