Enjoy majestic views of the White Mountains and spectacular sunsets while staying at our 3 bedroom Saltbox with new 24' x 15' screened-in porch on the picturesque Frye Island located on Sebago Lake, the second largest lake in Maine, 25 miles west of Downtown Portland.
Take a 5 minute ferry ride over from the mainland to Frye Island. Leave behind your worries and begin to enjoy all the amenities the Island has to offer: Island Cafe (free Wi-Fi), Club House Public Lounge, Ice Cream Stand, General Store, golfing, boating (rentals available off Island), jet skiing (rentals available off Island), swimming (13 town beaches or town pool), tennis, biking, kids playground, basketball, baseball, soccer, community center, etc., or simply relax and enjoy the private setting of our home.
Our cottage is centrally located on the western side of the Island close to all of the Island amenities and is .3 of a mile from Long Beach & the Long Beach Marina. We are across the street from the Town's secluded Recreation Area which has its own waterfront with picnic area for your enjoyment & pleasure.
Our sunny & open cottage provides you with three (3) bedrooms (linens not provided), living room, eat-in kitchen (fully stocked with cooking utensils, plates, serving plates, bowls, etc), one full bath on the 2nd floor and a 3/4 bath on the 1st floor. Additionally, make use of the outdoor shower when returning from the beach. Our screened-in porch, which is directly connected to the kitchen area, provides you with a dining area / game table, seating, & a place to quietly enjoy the evenings. Walk out the door of the 2nd floor master bedroom onto your own private deck to further enjoy the park like settings, views and magnificent sunsets.
