Amelia Island:
Amelia Island is a 12 mile long island location just over the Georgia line in northeast Florida. The island includes the historic village of Fernandina Beach at the north end. Fernandina has many fine and casual restaurants, first class shopping, a thriving harbor and many fine historic homes and museums.
The Amelia Island Plantation (AIP):
Rated a four-star resort by AAA, AIP is a 1350 acre island resort situated between the pristine beaches of the Atlantic Ocean and the Intracoastal Waterway. Facilities include 4 championship golf courses, 23 Hardtru tennis courts and a state-of-the-art Health and Fitness Center. The golf courses have been awarded “Silver Medal” by Golf Magazine and Tennis Magazine just rated the tennis center a “top 50” USA tennis destination. In addition AIP has miles of beach, 44,000 sq. ft. of shopping and restaurants, a 1st class Spa, and numerous tours and programs open to young and (not so) old. Owner is a Plantation Club member and can purchase amenity cards for guests, if they wish. An amenity card will allow access to club tennis, golf and Health & Fitness Center as well as various restaurants and other on-site activities.
The Condo:
This one level patio condo is located in a quiet setting convenient to the AIP shops, restaurants and sport and activity centers. The condo was recently fully renovated to include an enclosed sun porch, full kitchen with new appliances and an open, modern décor. High speed internet access is now available. The condo complex has 2 convenient swimming pools dedicated to guest use.
The master bedroom has a king size bed with private bath and TV. The second bedroom has a queen size bed with private bath entrance. The living area includes TV, VCR and a full sofa bed that will comfortably sleep 2.
