Cozy 80 year old house behind 100 year old pine trees off of a county route situated between two Berkshire hills. House is located on 5 1/2 acres divided by the scenic Green River. Crab apple, birch, pine, walnut trees, wild berries and wild grasses throughout property visited often by deer and other local wildlife. Great walking trails behind house.
House has a large living room, full kitchen, two bedrooms (one on each floor) and two bathrooms (one on each floor.) Great views of the landscape from each bedroom and from the solarium on the first floor. Living room surrounded by trees and offers a great private, relaxing area with greenery visible from all sides. Solarium sleeps one, living room has pull-out couch for two.
Property is located within 20 minutes of I-90, 15 minutes from the restaurants, cinemas and theaters in Great Barrington, MA, 20 minutes from the restaurants, restorations, museums, and antiques in Hudson, New York, and 15 minutes to skiing at Butternut outside of Hillsdale, New York. 30 minutes to the outlet mall in Lee, MA and close to the museums in Pittsfield, Williamstown and North Adams, MA.
