Our new home is directly on the second fairway, yet it has a great deal of privacy due to its setback. It has open space on three sides plus a double lot on the fourth side; therefore it is very quiet. It is within the upscale Sanctuary community that is part of the Tubac Golf Resort and Spa. Our home that was completed in 2008.
Kitchen tops are granite. Copper sinks are set in ceramic tile vanities. High ceilings, rough hewn beams, knotty alder wood doors, southwestern arches, and huge windows enhance the luxurious architecture. The well-appointed guest suite has its own front entry, refrigerator and private patio.
All furnishings were purchased in 2008. Decorating is southwestern, with an emphasis on comfort. There are two desks, one in the den and another in the breakfast area. Tile floors are covered by artistic carpets. Two covered patios border the golf course that protects views of two mountain ranges.
Native flowering shrubs and trees grace all four sides of the home. The main patio includes an outdoor dining table for six, chaises and a gas barbeque.
The home is a ½ mile walk from the center of the gorgeous resort and a ½ mile walk to the 75 delightful galleries, shops, restaurants, and cooking school in the cozy artists’ colony of Tubac. It is well located for dozens of day trips throughout southern Arizona and northern Mexico.
Explore nearby wineries, mining towns, missions, ghost towns, casinos, and national parks. The cultural offerings at the University of Arizona in Tucson are less than an hour away. The excitement of Phoenix and Scottsdale are a 2-3 hour drive. The fun of Mexico is only 20 minutes to the south.
Go to the Tubac Golf Resort website to learn about the Resort and Spa. You will enjoy 27 beautiful holes of golf that are challenging from the back tees and friendly from the other tees. The practice facilities are first-rate, including a driving range, putting green, and an area where you can improve your chipping and bunker shots.
In addition you have the choice of several sumptuous spa services, lovely walking paths, two restaurants and a number of shops within the resort.

My husband and I are semi-retired and decided to visit this property for a month. We had a fantastic vacation and will absolutely be coming back. The view was excellent and we spent much time on the patio during the day and at night, grilling and watching the sunset. The house and everything in it is brand new. It is tastefully decorated with beautiful southwestern art and fully loaded with multiple flat screen televisions, posh leather furniture, and even high quality linens. The owners completely equipped the kitchen with all new items and I had everything I needed to cook a gourmet meal (great local grocery and several great restaurants down the road!). The house also included an office (wireless internet, printer in office) which was convenient. Overall, our stay was relaxing and comfortable and we would highly recommend this property.

My girlfriend and I stayed at the property for a week and had an excellent vacation. We relaxed by the pool, visited local wineries, cooked gourmet food from the nearby market, spent time visiting Tuscon and enjoyed the warm Arizona sun in late Fall. We also ate at several fantastic local restaurants that were conveniently located only a few minutes away. The house is spacious (including a huge master bathroom w/ jacuzzi), brand new and nicely furnished and the immediate area is gorgeous. This property offers outstanding value for its renting price.

This gorgeous property is a relaxing and interesting vacation spot. The house is tastefully appointed and very comfortable. The views of the mountains as well as the golf course are spectacular. The home is very private and yet accessible to the charming town of Tubac. We also visited Tombstone, Brisbee, several missions, and several national parks all of which were just short distances from the house. The restaurants in the area were absolutely wonderful with varied cuisine and atmosphere. The town of Tubac is an undiscovered artists' enclave with charm and hospitality. The 27 hole golf course is excellently maintained, interesting, and unique with cattle grazing on the boarder of several holes. We will definitely return to this lovely home.

My wife and I found this property to be the perfect winter getaway. The beauty of the area is not done justice by the still photographs. The main house is extremely roomy, beautifully appointed, and conveniently located for excellent golf course views. The guest suite is perfect to accommodate additional friends and family. The property's proximity to the shops in Tubac is convenient for various restaurant choices, and browsing. The golf course is in pristine condition and suits golfers of all skill levels. The excellent Arizona weather is a given. My wife and I look forward to a return visit in the near future. Rating: *****
