Easily accessible off exit 20 of the Northway. Located on beautiful, two mile long Hadlock Pond. This five bedroom, two bath home with indoor and outdoor fireplace will make you at home in the Adirondacks. 100 feet of private waterfront settled on one acre of private land. Newly remodeled and refinished. Hadlock Pond is a quiet 2 mile long by 1/2 mile wide lake that welcomes all motor boats. As a calm lake, it provides an excellent playground for all water sports; swimming, kayaking, fishing, ice fishing and snowmobiling (Groomed trails close by). In the evening enjoy the outdoor fireplace while gazing at the beautiful Adirondack sky. Or if you prefer, head inside and cozy up to the stone fireplace while overlooking the lake.

First Floor: 1 king bedroom, 1 bunk bedroom, full bath, great room, fully modern kitchen, working fireplace, two sliders lead to full balcony overlooking lake and sunset

Loft: enclosed and private, 2 twin beds, pullout queen sofa bed

Ground Floor: 1 queen bedroom, 1 bedroom with 2 twin beds, 3/4 bath, great room with TV, two sliders lead to deck overlooking lake, swimming area, and sunsets

The swimming is unique, 35 feet off shore is your own private island ( 15 ft by 15 ft). Wade out to the island in only 18 inches of water. Great for young children to swim and play safely. Just beyond the island the water turns deeper making it superb for boating
and floating.

Activities and Attractions:
The Home is minutes from Lake George, Lake George shopping outlets, public golf courses, tennis, bike trails. Gore mountain(skiing)is 30 min, West Mountain(skiing)is 10 min, Killington is 90 Min, Saratoga Race Track is 20 min. For the kids there is The Great Escape and Splashwater Kingdom( 10 Min.) and the Great Escape indoor Water Park.

New for 2010: new paddle boat and Canoe. Covered Rain porch for outside sitting.

  • No Pets Allowed: Pet Free. We love pets but our children are allergic, so we have never had or entertained pets of any kind.
  • Kid Friendly: A safe friendly acre of land for the kids to roam on dead end road. Very little traffic. The 100 foot shore line is 18 inches deep for 30 feet, until you reach island. Great for children and less stress for the adults
  • Minimum Age Limit for Renters: age 25 is the minimum
  • Smoking Not Allowed: Always a smoke free environment.

  • great stay. Nice separation in house for our two families. the lake was wonderful for the grand kids, very shallow. wish we had brought a boat of some type. we will be back in 2010 and we do recommend. very nice landlords.

  • We absolutely loved our stay in Hadlock Pond. This vacation home is gorgeous. The Adirondack decor enhances the natural beauty just beyond the doors of the house. We spent most of our time down on the dock, swimming in the pond, wading on the shoreline...there are activities for people of all ages. We particularly liked the way you could walk into the water from a shallow depth, ideal for small kids. The home is clean, well-equipped, and features every comfort you will need. Lake George Village is just a few minutes drive from the house...as is the Adirondack park. I would give this home 5 stars out of 5. That is impressive, as I am very hard to please.

  • Held our 2 families comfortably. The shallow swimming was great for our grandkids, as advertised. easy flow around the house. Had good weather and a great time. Bring a boat as you could use one. owner does not have. recommended we'll be back in '10
