Come visit beautiful Lake Gaston.
It is located in northern NC & southern VA with 350 miles of shoreline and the main lake is 35 miles long. Our wonderful, 2-story A-frame is located on the water in a large cove with a main lake view.
On the main level is the master bedroom with a king size bed. The second bedroom has a full size bed and bunk beds. Two full bathrooms are on the main level... one off the hall, one off the master. The front room facing the lake includes a large kitchen/den which is the total width of the house. This is a well stocked kitchen with a large table so that you can enjoy the view as you enjoy your meal.
The basement is two large rooms. One with a queen sleeper sofa, sofa, tv, ping pong table. The second room has a king and queen bed. A washer and dryer are located in the basement. The basement is entirely ceramic tile. (Please provide your own towels and linens)
Large windows are a focal point of the house and give great views of the lake.
Outside, the upper deck is equipped with tables and plenty of seating when grilling out on the gas grill while viewing the wide open view of the lake. The outdoor fire pit is perfect for family marshmallow roasting and story telling. The boathouse includes an upper sun deck, large main deck, and two steps into the water. There is tie up space for a boat on the side of the dock. A neighborhood launch is located about 3/4 mile away. The water depth at the end of the dock is about 8 feet. There is a hammock for those lazy summer days.
