Come visit beautiful Lake Gaston.
It is located in northern NC & southern VA with 350 miles of shoreline and the main lake is 35 miles long. Our wonderful, 2-story A-frame is located on the water in a large cove with a main lake view.
On the main level is the master bedroom with a king size bed. The second bedroom has a queen size bed and bunk beds. Two full bathrooms are on the main level... one off the hall, one off the master. The front room facing the lake includes a large kitchen/den which is the total width of the house. This is a well stocked kitchen with a large table so that you can enjoy the view as you enjoy your meal.
The basement is two large rooms. One with a queen sleeper sofa, full size bed, sofa, tv, playstation 2 with 2 controllers. The second room has a king and queen bed. A washer and dryer are located in the basement. The basement is entirely ceramic tile. (Please provide your own towels and linens)
Large windows are a focal point of the house and give great views of the lake.
Outside, the upper deck is equipped with tables and plenty of seating when grilling out on the gas grill while viewing the wide open view of the lake. A hammock will allow you to nap after a great day on the lake. The outdoor fire pit is perfect for family marshmallow roasting and story telling. The boathouse includes an upper sun deck, large main deck, and two steps into the water. There is tie up space for a boat on the side of the dock. A neighborhood launch is located about 3/4 mile away. The water depth at the end of the dock is about 8 feet.

Year Purchased: 2003
These are my beautiful kids. We purchased our property in July of 2003. When my husband walked around the deck and saw the view, he said, "Where do we sign'? We live in Chesterfield Va and can get to the lake in less than 1 1/2 hours. My 2 kids are 21 and 16. My son goes to Old Dominion University and my daughter is a Junior. We love coming to the lake and making memories.
Why the Owner Chose Henrico
We have been going to Lake Gaston since the 1980s. My parents had a camper at The Club and then River Ridge. We have always enjoyed boating and water sports. Purchasing a vacation home at Lake Gaston was a no-brainer.
The Unique Benefits of this House
The view from the deck is second-to-none. We have a beautiful main lake view but are located right inside the cove, so it does not get rough. The dock is huge and great. We love going to the lake in the summer, fall, winter, and spring! Nothing like spending a fall or winter weekend with a pot of soup on the stove.

We stayed here for the Thanksgiving holiday.. It was amazing!! Our first time at the lake was exceptional!! The area is quiet, the house was roomy, clean, amazing view and the neighbor was friendly!! The children even caught catfish from the dock! Diane was very friendly and accomodating. We will definately be renting again really soon!!
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, people with disabilities, sightseeing, families with young children.

We were so sad to leave today, one of the best vacations we've taken. Loved the location on the lake. Kids really enjoyed jumping from the top deck. We all caught lots of fish from the dock, some of the kids caught their first fish. Loved that Food Lion, Ace Hardware, and the ABC store were not far from the house. House was nicely stocked and clean. Lots of great memories made at this house. Looking forward to renting again!!!

Our family visited with our friends family and had a great time. The house is very nice and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the lake and the pool at the clubhouse. It was nice to sit on the deck and just relax and watch the kids swim and fish by the dock. My 7 year old caught her first fish there and is now hooked on fishing! Thank you so much for the wonderful memories!

We stayed here on our first trip to Lake Gaston this spring. It was wonderful. The house is conveniently located just off the main lake. Out of the crazy traffic, but close enough to the fun. Brought our boat and really enjoy the luxury of having it nearby. We can't wait to plan our next trip!

Our family spent a long weekend here, celebrating the year's birthdays. A fabulous time was had by all despite a bit of rain. The house was great for our family of 5. Best part: The view of the sunrise from the deck is perfect. We'll be back.
