  What a welcome I received upon my arrival to Verona! The apartment is located in the perfect spot, just down the street from the Piazza Bra. Not only did I find this convenient, but I had the feeling of being a local. It is private, yet central. The apartment is furnished with the finest amenities and is extremely comfortable. I look forward to returning someday to share this magic with some of my closest friends. You will love it, guaranteed.

  We travel to Europe each year and last week was the first time we have rented an apartment and had a wonderful experience. The apartment has the perfect location, right in town but upstairs with an outside patio, with no noise despite being in the heart of Verona. allesandro offers to make reservations and give highlights about the nearby restaurants. Everything is in close proximity including walking to the train station for day trips. We would recommend this apartment for a relaxed home away from home.

  We stayed for a week in the apartment during a very hot spell in July 2012 - the air-conditioning was very welcome indeed! Alessandra is a very gracious host, and both welcomed us and provided us with excellent advice about amenities and especially good restaurants in the vicinity. The apartment itself is very well described in the listing, and we were not disappointed in any respect. There is a full service Spar supermarket nearby. The apartment is within short (5 minutes) walking distance to the arena, and a pleasant stroll from all main sites in Verona. We would certainly stay again, and look forward to our next visit to Verona.

  We stayed a week at this property and just loved it. The feeling was similar to being at home - relaxed, quiet and safe, with Spotty to keep us company! The location is very near the Arena, shops, restaurants, buses, taxis, supermarket and within walking distance to most attractions in Verona. We went to the Opera which was just magic and then only a 5 min walk home. It is easy to do a day trip to Lake Garda, Venice and various other places close by. The house is furnished in a very tasteful way and easy to relax in. We took our breakfast on the terrace in the mornings and were able to sit out with a glass of wine in the evenings - delightful! Alessandra, thank you for your hospitality. Be assured we would love to revisit again, who knows! If you are thinking of staying at this property, do as you will not be disappointed.

  Second time here and every bit as good as the first! Great appartment, great location. Really well furnished appartment and kitted out with all you could need. Very comfy sofa bed. Air con and terrace a great asset. Alessandra and family exceptionally helpful as on our first stay. A great place to explore the city and to experience the opera. Already planning our third stay !   This apartment is right in the heart of Verona and its location cannot be beat. Stepping out of the front door puts you onto the Via Roma with cafe bars and restaurants just steps away. All the attractions of Verona are within walking distance and, while a bus is recommended, it is but a 15 minute walk to the station. Alessandra, the owner, was most helpful. The apartment is within the same complex as her home, but she is by no means intrusive. Everything was as advertised on the website and we will definitely be recommending this property to our friends. Hopefully, we too, will get to stay there again.

  May 30,2012 Carol and Marshall We have just ended a one month stay in this delightful apartment and were satisfied with every aspect. It is very private, spotless, comfortably furnished, full of light, quiet, air conditioned, perfectly located, and has a large private terrace. Alassandra, the owner, is very helpful with information about the area and neighboring villages and cities. We hope we can stay again in the near furure.

  Our family - two adults and two college kids - stayed at this lovely apartment for ten days in March, 2012. First of all, the apt itself is clean, bright, modern, comfortable and everything works. There are charming personal touches throughout, and most importantly it is all clean and well-kept, the plumbing is new, the kitchen is new, the light is good. The kitchen is well equipped with decent pans and other supplies, so we were able to cook breakfasts, lunches, and dinners without having to go purchase equipment. (There are can and bottle openers, graters, strainers, and such.) The apartment as a whole is intelligently laid out. It is not facing the street, but rather a quiet internal courtyard, where you can take tea in the morning or sit out with a glass of wine by night. We were very comfortable. The apartment is medium sized, but it is furnished in such a way that you always have open space around you, so that it feels larger than it is. Our nineteen year old said, "The fold out bed felt like a real bed instead of one of those sofa-beds. It was actually comfortable!" It was nice to be able to close two doors between ourselves and our daughters at night. Next, the location is perfect if you are interested in the city center with the ancient churches, historic piazzas, and coliseum. It is actually in the pedestrian-only zone, but the street entry is just a few doors down from a cab stand and a block from the bus stop, so it's extremely convenient. You will not have to drag your suitcases through the streets. There is a single flight of stairs from the road to the apt. It is also very safe - we never felt any anxiety at all. There is a quite good grocery store three short blocks from the apt. There are also streets of boutiques within a couple of minutes walk. And for each super pricey designer shop there was another that was inexpensive street style, so it was fun to shop regardless of budget. Best of all, the owner is charming, intelligent and friendly. We had family in town and didn't need much help, but without being invasive at all, she checked on us and made sure we knew where we were and how to find good food and things to do and see. When we actually did need help (having foolishly left a prescription at home) she was quick to help us sort things out. We all had a great time, and I will certainly recommend this space to my family and friends. More to the point, I will definitely come back myself!

  My wife and I stayed in this apartment for one week in February. A woman friend of hours stayed at the same time, sleeping on the convertible sofa in the living room, but there was sufficient privacy as the bathroom and bedroom are separated from the kitchen and living room by a hallway which is closed by a door. The apartment is well equipped (including the kitchen, which is very spacious), very clean, comfortable, and quiet. As it was winter, we did not use the patio, but we can imagine it as wonderful in warm weather. The apartment is in the back of the building, which itself is in a pedestrian zone, in the very center of the city. We walked everywhere. There is an excellent restaurant virtually across the street, and a large and excellent supermarket around the corner. Alessandra and her daughter were very helpful in every way. We could not have chosen a better apartment. We would happily rent it again.

  My husband and I had the pleasure of staying in this apartment for 3 weeks and found it to be the best apartment we have stayed in (we are travelling for 2 years). Alessandra and her sister and daughter were helpful and delightful to deal with. We arrived slightly hot and flustered but Alessandra's daughter came with us to the car park plus helped us with our luggage. The car park is only 5 minutes walk through Castelvecchio (how amazing). Alessandra also advise us on local sights to see including a visit to Allegrini wines and Villa del Torre - a must do! The apartment is spotless and has everything you need for a home away from home. The kitchen has all utensils for cooking with a small dining table and seating for 4. In fact we stayed in and cooked several nights. The washing machine is located in a little alcove at the back of the apartment with it's own private drying area which receives full sun in the morning so good for quick drying. The bathroom is airy and receives plenty of light. The bedroom is also light and roomy. The lounge area is large for an apartment with a small desk and computer if you need one. Wi-Fi connection is available. Apart from the obvious inclusions, we had a wonderful stay and found the location ideal. A minute walk to Castelvecchio and two minute walk to Piazza Bra and the Arena. We were privileged to see an Opera whilst there and it was a convenient 5 minute walk back to the apartment. It's close to the bus line, the hop on/off bus and about 20-30 minutes walk to the train station. It became our home away from home and will be a place we always choose when we stay in Verona. Wonderful apartment, wonderful location, wonderful and helpful owner and family. 5*****
