Anne Brenner was one of the friendliest Owners I have ever rented a VRBO unit from. I have used VRBO over a dozen times over the last 4 years. She was so nice and accomodating to anything needed. The unit was HUGE and the photos really don't do the unit justice. It was very clean and all kitchen tools were in the house. All other supplies were abundant too. The location of the unit was the best in Taos. If you like to walk to everything (shopping and food) this is the unit for you. The covered private parking was awesome too. Anne, thanks for putting your unit on VRBO. We will be sure to return and recommend it to our friends. After reviewing and contacting dozens of properties for a last minute spring break ski trip with 5 kids and 3 adults, I came across this beautiful property and thought "there is no way I will get this..." But Anne is truly a wonderful homeowner and so accomodating! She worked with us on our schedule and was able to make our trip such a memorable experience! The home is beautiful and clean - thoughtfully decorated with local art and flair. The beds are supremely comfortable. The kitchen has a TV room right off of it, which allowed us to cook and keep an eye on the kids simultaneously. The washer and dryer are massive and made it easy to stay on top of laundry (less work once we got home!). We wondered if it would be a loud property given that it is steps from Alley Cantina, but it was blissfully quiet and we loved hearing the local church bells in the evening. We grilled burgers on the screened in patio one evening and took in an amazing sunset from the front deck on another. There is a great kids toy shop literally steps outsuide the front door. We felt at home away from home and would definitely return and recommend this to everyone we know! Thank you, Anne!!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

What a perfect time we had in Taos staying at the Penthouse! Me, my wife, and three teenage girls no less. The property was much more than we even hoped for and all of our family and friends were equally as impressed. Spacious, very clean and well furnished. The porch overlooking the plaza became our favorite place to read, talk, and eat. The location of the penthouse could not have been better and what a surprise to find out that my nephew's bike shop was only one block away. All in all it was a truly wonderful time and great place to stay. We would and will do it again in a heartbeat.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, sightseeing.

There are a few places I go back to over and over again, this is one of those. The Penthouse is a little known jewel in Taos. It is hidden on the second floor overlooking the Plaza. It is very large and well appointed, with a view (the Plaza) second to none in the area. It is in the center of activity for Taos while being unnoticed and peaceful. It is large enough to throw an area party (which we did) yet cozy enough to disappear into for days (which we also did). Ann is more than an owner, she dropped by our party for an hour, and was most gracious. I not only recommended this beautiful property to relatives, I brought them to stay two different times with us. The best of Taos is a block or twos walk, after all it is the center of town. I highly recommend staying here.Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

I could not have asked for more! The penthouse was in the heart of Taos and so much fun to just drop our shopping bags upstairs and keep going for more! It was convienient for us to ski at Angelfire a couple days and then Taos. The penthouse was wonderfully furnished with everything we might have needed. It was amazingly spacious and great for our big family. Thank you for giving us the opportunity!Evelyn from TexasRecommended for: Tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

What an elegant and amazing getaway! Everything is there for all lifestyles. I could cook with my family or walk to fine dining, my choice! This property manager takes great care to see that guests are comfortable and feel at home. I have highly recommended this rental to my friends and family. The screened-in porch is where my family and I spent each morning and evening watching and listening to the activities on the Taos Plaza. Make the short drive to the gorge or Taos mountain for breathtaking views high and low. Great museums too!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Beautifully appointed, huge, spacious, most accomodating. Overlooking Taos Plaza. The description and photos were accurate. We would not only recommend this to our friends we would insist that they stay there! The suite was immaculate and has everything one needs so you dont even have to leave the place. It is in the heart of downtown Taos, all the galleries and resturants are outside the front door! We thoroughly enjoyed our week long stay and are on our way again next week! The owner is right there to answer all questions and make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Thankyou for making our trips to Taos SO easy and wonderful!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

My husband and I spent six weeks at the Taos Plaza Penthouse in January and February 2010 and it was just a great experience for us. We skied a ton and came "home" (that is what it felt like) to fix a great evening meal in the well equipped kitchen and relax in either the TV room (the olympic games were on) or in the very large living room with a lovely fireplace. On nights we wanted to go out for a meal, we had a choice of many truly fine restaurants in walking distance right out the door. We also enjoyed the fact that we were about 27 steps from the Alley Cantina which serves a very tasty margarita. The condo is spacious, well furnished and the private parking was really convenient. Also, the owner, Anne Brenner, is a delightful and helpful person. We are coming back again next January/February and are already looking forward to our stay.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.
