Family Friendly, walk to Downtown, Park across street

Guest: BALMinn (Minneapolis, MN)
Date of Stay: 10/16/10 Review Submitted: 10/25/10

We found the townhouse very comfortable, quiet and convenient to downtown(convention center) and Alvarado Transit Hub. Our kids loved the little room under the stairs, and our (just about) 2 year old slept there. The park across the street is attached to an elementary school. This allowed our two children to play on the school slides, swings and run around. The other families were very friendly, and it struck me as neighborhood you would like to live in. I traveled mainly by City Bus in Albuquerque (Taxis are not child friendly without kid seats). Only drawback was lack of a grocery store not requiring a taxi. Roadrunner rail service to Santa Fe is a 13 minute walk with stroller (Alvarado Transit Hub). This is an exellent way to visit Santa Fe. If you have a car, garage is very nice, and street parking is ample.

Love this condo and Albuquerque - especially Old Town

Guest: Joan (Mobile, AL, USA)

Just spent 4 days at your condo, Anissa. Great area. So close to Old Town. Just minutes from Interstate but never heard any traffic noises. We loved being so near Standard Diner (a Guy Fieri pick on Diners, Dives and Drive-Ins). Also short drive to Frontier Cafe (a favorite). Recommend this location to anyone visiting your wonderful city. Thanks again!!! Joan - Mobile, Alabama

I could have stayed forever!

This condo was perfect for me, my dog and all my visiting relatives. Master bedroom is huge, with large closet, smaller bedroom has two twin beds. Absolutely accurate description of property; very walkable area; great neighbors and owner. I can certainly recommend the Standard Diner and Artichoke Cafe on Central Avenue, both within walking distance.

Great family friendly condo!

This condo was perfect for our family! We have toddler twins and they loved exploring all the nooks and crannies of this condo. The park across the street is very nice, and the garage is large and clean. The condo is well maintained. There is not a lot of "art" and knick knacks around which is perfect for families with children. The neighborhood is fun--residential, but close to shops and restaurants. It's a great central location. The host was very responsive to our requests. We will definitely try to stay here next time we are in town.

I cannot say how much we LOVED staying here! The area is so much fun and very walkable. The layout of the townhome is perfect for our family (including toddler and dog). Everything we needed, even a babysitter referral. It really felt like home and we can't wait to come back. We will definately stay here again when we are in town!
