The expansive, deserted beach is a great place for early morning walks and afternoon sunbathing if you can tear yourself away from the patio. Several excellent restaurants as well as local "joints" are a short evening walk down the beach.
Sayulita, 3 miles away has a surf school. Golf at nearby courses.
The resort hotel Coast Azul provides horseback riding on the beach, and a perfect spot for quick breakfast or lunch on the beach.
