The Cabin at Rose Hill has just been remodeled! It is located at the split across from the Lake Anna State Park and is ideal for a family vacation.
The two-story, cedar-sided cabin is app 1300 square feet. The cabin has three bedrooms with ceiling fans and two bathrooms. There are two queen beds and one full bed in the cabin. Quality linens are provided as well as towels and washclothes. The kitchen is fully equiped. The living room and upstairs bedrooms have a TV and DVD player.
The lot is wooded with plenty of shade and there are no houses on the adjoining lots. In the winter months, the lake is clearly visible through the trees. For your entertainment, the cabin has board games, movies, a fire ring, horseshoe pits, a dart board and a picnic table. The cabin also boasts a large covered back deck with ceiling fan and a smaller open front deck.
The roads are private and traffic is minimal during the week but picks up some on the weekends. The boat dock, swim deck and boat launch (perfect for fishermen!) are located at the common area (a short walk from the house)and used very little by other residents as the subdivision only has 19 home sites and 13 of them have their own docks. We have lived at the cabin for many years and seldom has anyone been at the dock but us. You can leave your boat at the dock or at the cabin. If you would like to bring an RV please inquire.
There are many wineries in the area to visit as well as Civil War sites. We would be happy to provide additional information regarding places of interest in the area, but the real draw is Lake Anna.
There are boat/jet ski rentals nearby, please inquire. We use the cabin one week a month during the summer and love it! We hope you will too.
