From the property we have had the pleasure of viewing deer walking through, wild turkeys, foxes and bald eagles.
Enjoy spectacular sunsets from expansive decks in this privately-owned, newer, lake front 2,000 sq. ft. chalet featuring soaring ceilings with skylights, lake views galore and a floor-to-ceiling fieldstone fireplace centered in prow, and flanked by a wall of windows & doors on each side.
Great room area includes comfy, overstuffed leather couch and recliner, cozy chair with ottoman, corner TV and Bose stereo. Great room opens to large wrap around deck, covered porch and gazebo.
3 large bedrooms. Upper level master suite features sliding glass doors leading to private balcony/deck with great lake views and interior loft/sitting area overlooking great room. Master suite also features king size bed and private bath with double bowl sinks. Queen size beds in other 2 bedrooms with additional full bath with double sinks on main level.
Full kitchen, side-by-side refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker and island counter with bar stools. Adjacent dining affords great views and seats 6 comfortably.

Ken & Lindsay, Thank you so much for letting us stay at your rental home. It was wonderful, in every way. Everything that we were hoping it'd be, beautiful home, view & peaceful & relaxing. Candie was very surprised. One of our favorite places in the 15 years that I've been doing this surprise for Candie. Loved the Bose speakers, the gas starter in the fireplace. Thanks for having the fireplace stocked Friday for us and for the wood by the fire pit. We found the guy with the $3 wheelbarrow of firewood, too! Thanks for the awesome 4 nights. We have never stayed in the same place twice in 15 years, but we both commented that if we decide to do that, this would be the first place that we'd make a repeat visit! Thanks again, Jeff

Ken, I’ve been meaning to follow up with you. Thank you for the accommodations. Everything was great. I was really looking forward to a campfire but as it turned out it was a little warm so we found other things. I did see 3 beautiful sunsets and took some pictures. One day at dusk while watching the sunset we had dear run right past us, you should have heard Karen yell..we all laughed. I was surprised how quiet the lake was, even on the weekend. The trail was excellent, we walked/jogged a couple days and ran the steps to the dock. One day went to Castle Rock beach for about and hour and then hit the Tourdot Winery outside dells and sat on the deck and had cheese and crackers. Played lots of cards and some ladder ball. I did not get a chance to try the local food, my wife had a meal planned for everyday, so maybe next time. The entire experience was very nice, the house was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. The view was gorgeous. I would definitely suggest to others and in fact have told quite a few about the vacation already. Kraig

We had a wonderful time staying at this beautiful lake home. The owners Ken and Lindsay Young provided us with a very enjoyable stay. The house has breath taking views and is beautifully decorated. There is plenty of room so everyone has their own area to relax. The house is so inviting and comfortable that when it is time to leave you will not want to. We hope to make it back next year.
