Our getaway began on December 1, 2011. Everything in the unit was as described in the listing. It's a convenient and comfortable condo. The building and grounds were attractive and well maintained. The owner went out of her way to make sure we had information on local activities and restaurants, and after we got there she called to see if we needed anything. One doesn't usually think of going to a beach anywhere but in south Florida in December, but we were lucky enough to have sunny weather (in the 70's and upper 60's). Walking on the beach was nice, and the (outside) pool and hot tub were well heated. In high season, Hilton Head Island can be crowded, so we enjoyed being there this time of year and not having to fight traffic and restaurant crowds.

My husband and I had the pleasure of visiting Hilton Head with our two young sons and can't say enough about this home in Barrington Arms. The owner Laura was a pleasure to deal with from the moment we secured our reservation. She went above and beyond to make sure we had tons of information on what to do in Hilton Head as well as several great restaurant recommendations. She was always quick to respond to my many questions via email. From the moment we arrived the condo felt like home. It was tastefully decorated and very welcoming. Our sons loved feeding the fish and the turtles at the pond and spending countless hours at the beach and pool. The location of the condo is in a quiet section at the back end of Palmetto Dunes. The condo was fully equipped with whatever you needed to make your stay comfortable! We highly recommend this propery and can't wait to come back!

Wow! After coming to Hilton Head for several years and always staying at "top notch" places (Westin, Hilton, Crowne Plaza, Villamare), we have finally found the perfect place for our family. We loved it! The condo is in perfect condition. The entire place is well-equipped to meet any need you may have (nice furniture, comfortable bedding, beach chairs, games, toys, etc. and the carpet was exceptionally clean (which definitely isn't the norm). After just a couple days, our children were already asking if we could come back to stay here again. The location is great too (quiet end of Palmetto Dunes)...and because of the size of the complex, there were not too many guests (parking spaces were plentiful and the pool wasn't packed). Thanks again for such a great week in Hilton Head. We look forward to staying again next summer!

We live near the beaches of Florida and Alabama. Our first trip to Hilton Head was more beautiful than anything along the Gulf Coast. This resort felt more like Hawaii. The grounds are stunning with trees, flowers and manicured lawns, The beach is gorgeous and you can ride bikes for miles along the sand beaches. The heated pool was perfect and very clean. The condo was spotless with many new amenities such as very comfortable premium mattresses, new washer/dryer, toaster, beautiful new granite and dishes. Take the advise from the owners of where to visit. Everywhere they suggested was excellent: Restaurants, bike rentals, dolphin cruise and children's activities. The owners have done their homework and you won't be disappointed with their recommendations. This resort and their unit was 100% enjoyable. And the views are awesome. Enjoy your stay.

A perfect spring break getaway! The villa is more than we expected. You truly feel as if you are at home. It is immaculate, comfortable, and convenient to everything. The bike rentals were the way to go. We rode to dinner, shopping, along the beach, and exploring. I would highly recommend this property to everyone. The Owner's personal touches, care, and genuine concern for your vacation to be enjoyable were obvious from the first time we made contact with them. We will be back next year! Go Cubbies!

My two friends and I stayed at your lovely villa and we thought it was great. The villa was such a delightful place to stay that we all said we would come back to Hilton Head and this villa would be our first choice. Thank you Laura for being such a caring owner, Sincerely, Sharon Lynch, SC

What a pleasure to stay at such a beautiful, updated villa in Palmetto Dunes! The condo is well-maintained, spacious, and very comfortable. Bedrooms located on separate sides of the unit add privacy for 2 couples or families with children. Special attention to detail...listing photos are accurate, but it is even better than the photos portray. Peaceful end unit with gorgeous views from balcony. ...Loved the expansive white sand beach, pool, lovely gardens and meandering waterways. We rented bikes and took advantage of the miles of bike trails on the island, including riding on the beach ( the only beach I know of where this is possible.) I highly recommend this vacation rental to anyone looking for an unforgetable, breathtaking island retreat.

Of all the places we have stayed during a vacation, this one is by far our favorite, and we wouldn't even think of looking elsewhere on Hilton Head Island. The beautifully decorated condo, the outstanding kitchen, the furnishings, the comfortable beds, the magnificent view from the LR, both bedrooms and the large balcony, the jacuzzi tubs, the pool and ocean just a few steps away and the many extras provided by the owners made our stay so special! It was also unique and a real treat to have so many books, movies and games readily available and inviting. This is clearly the place to be when at Hilton Head, and we hope to return soon.

In the 28 years I've been coming to Hilton Head, I've stayed in many nice hotels (Westin, Marriott, Hilton & Crown Plaza) & condos but nothing comes close to the experience of staying in this oceanfront villa. It is well-appointed, cozy, relaxing & clean. There is absolutely no musty odor which I've experienced in other condos/villas. This is an end unit which adds to additional privacy. The views in every direction are gorgeous. It is as beautiful as any Caribbean or Hawaiian resort view. You need look no further than this villa for your perfect vacation!

We stayed at 108 Barrington Arms in Hilton Head Island in July, 2010 for the first time. We have stayed in HHI several times before, however, this was the BEST! The owners are so friendly and truly great to communicate with, truly care about their villa (in every aspect) and want you to have a wonderful vacation experience. 108 Barrington Arms is 100% a villa you will want to vacation at time and time again. So many extra "amenties" already included! The villa felt like "our home away from home." The landscaping and views from the large balcony are beautiful! The villa was very clean and very comfortable and beautifully decorated! In fact, this is where this family of 5 will be spending their summer of 2011 vacation again!!!!! Thanks so much, Bruce and Laura, for such a great vacation experience!!!

I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again....absolutely beautiful location, very comfortable, perfectly decorated and immaculate. The pictures don't even begin to show it's amenities. It is perfectly maintained and well manicured. The owner, Laura, was so friendly and didn't mind my calling/e-mailing her with numerous questions. The beach is beautiful and the change of tides was amazing! I can't say enough.....thank you Laura!
