Enjoy the perfect mountain getaway in this wonderful 3 bedroom + family room/3 bath home tucked away in the forest of this beautiful Gated Country Club Golfing community. Connestee Falls is located in the gorgeous Blue Ridge Mountains just six miles southwest of the quaint town of Brevard, NC, about a 15 minute drive to downtown Brevard. This community sits on 4000 acres and incorporates four lakes, many hiking trails with scenic views including a waterfall, a large club house with two restaurants, tennis courts, walking track, golf course, driving range, bocce courts, library, heated lap pool and a fitness center.
Connestee Falls is ecologically designed to preserve the natural environment and an uncrowded, unpolluted, unhurried way of life where deer and other wildlife roam free at your back door. There is as much to do, or as little to do, as one desires in this beautiful forest. "Hummingbird Hideaway" offers lots of privacy in this lovely gated Country Club Resort Community.
This home features a cozy first floor main living area with a completely equipped kitchen, living/dining room with cathedral ceilings, a beautiful all stone wood burning fireplace and french doors leading to the screened covered patio for outdoor meals, relaxing or reading a book. There is a large master bedroom with private bath and french doors opening to the covered patio. Also on the main floor is a large guest bedroom with private bath.
The most amazing feature of this home, with the exception of the fireplaces, is this covered patio which spans the entire back of the top floor of the house and is situated high in the tree tops where you can relax and listen to the wind in the trees, watch birds and squirrels and maybe spot a deer or two walking along the deer trail behind the house. Half of this patio is screened, making it a great “hangout” in the afternoons and evenings. There is also a portion of the patio that is a sun deck.
The lower floor features a large private guest bedroom with full bath, a family room with its own wood burning fireplace for cozy gatherings, watching TV with Direct TV Satellite with a 220 channel line up or movies with the DVD player on the new 46" Flat Screen HDTV or playing games. There is also a large office with a laundry area with full size washer/dryer which leads out to the over sized single car garage. This lower floor also features its own private entry and open deck. There is a gas grill or a charcoal grill for fun cooking out for a nice day relaxing around the house.
You are just minutes away from all the amenities Connestee Falls has to offer such as a large heated swimming pool for fun or exercise, 4 gorgeous lakes for fishing or swimming, parks, 25 miles of hiking trails, a library and a fully equipped workout room. You can play golf or tennis and there is Fine Dining at the Club House or lunch at the Grille, all without leaving the community. Every Friday Connestee puts out a community weekly flyer with all the activities coming up such as plays, dinner dances, buffets, events and games should you wish to join in the fun.
