  I am happy to give a great review to Tonya! She was so helpful with everything, even the many travel delays we had prior to our stay. The apartment is compact and uses every bit of space perfectly. There is so much room for two people (I would say up to 5) and that is hard to get in the city. The location was BEYOND great, I have stayed in other areas of Manhattan and this is my favorite so far. It is close to everything you need. Also I suggest to eat at Eataly as many times as possible as it has amazing food... and very cute waiters ;) The apartment has an elevator and is in a safe area. The one minor issue we had was that the people above and beside us were a tad noisy on the weekend. We weren't too upset since we had seen them and knew they were young. The best part about this rental is the outdoor area, now we went when it was cold but I am guessing in the spring and summer that would be a great place to wind down with a glass of wine. I am so happy we stayed here. I think I finally found my New York home :) I will without a doubt be staying here again!

  We had a wonderful time for several days at this wonderful apartment. It was so convenient to the Subway R line, so close to Eataly, the Flatiron building that it made our trip so wonderful. We had a problem with the bed on the first night but it was taken care of immediately thanks to Winston and Fred. We even got a visit from the manager which meant a lot. The apartment was clean and freshly painted. Five people slept here very comfortably. The kitchen was adequate for our needs. I have recommended the apartment to my sister-in-law. It even has an outdoor space although we did not need it in February. I have to say that Tonya answered all my emails and phone calls with great patience. Thanks Tonya for our wonderful time in NYC.

  Tonya's apartment was everything I could have hoped for. It was clean and had plenty of bedding and towels etc.....The position being right near the Flat Iron building puts it right near the subway which is SUCH a bonus. A great kitchen and bathroom with a good shower, air-conditioning, cable TV with ALL the channels you could ever need. A great mezzanine that could easily sleep a couple with great comfort. You could EASILY sleep 5 people in this apartment. I haven't even mentioned the outdoor private courtyard. I've rented many apartments on my many vacations to NYC, but from now on, I'll ONLY be requesting this one. Such a great position, cafes.....restaurants.....you name it- it's there. Thank you so much Tonya, I love your place. I'll definitely be back.

  I rented 275705 but there was a bit of a misunderstanding and Tonya rented me this place instead and it worked out fine. Tiny as you would expect of a NYC apartment but spacious at the same time. Stayed 5 days. Second floor apt. equipped with everything you need. My trip was part pleasure and part work so wifi was appreciated too. Was really worried about being quiet and it really was. Just one day really early in the morning (5am), neighbors upstairs were making a lot of noise, maybe moving furniture but other than that it was really nice. Location is great, very centric near subway stations, markets. Please go to Eataly and Shake Shack. Winston took care of our luggage at the end of our stay because our flight was very late that day so we took the time to go to the Museum of Natural History and walk Central Park too. Thanks Tonya I will be back again :)

  My personal review: I loved the place. It was clean and neat all over. The TV made it cozy for us to buy take away food and watch tv series while eating.. We even ate breakfast in during almost all of our stay. It is very central and only a walk away from great sightseeing points, such as Empire State Building, The Rockefeller, NY Public Library and of course, fifth ave for shopping. I would definitely recommend this if you're a group of friends (3 people) traveling together. Winston, the super, was very helpful. The pictures definitely do the place justice!

  Four of us shared this cozy loft apartment, which was so perfectly situated and affordable that we will definitely use Tonya´s place again in teh future. We originally wanted the kitchen fr breakfast and even though it was perfectly equipped, we ended up eating out mostly. Great deli just down the road on 6th which was perfect for breakfast. Turn right on 6th and go down a couple of blocks, its on the left.´We walked everywhere but also took the City Tour which we had never done before. Excellent weekend. The apartment was comfy and clean and had all we needed! Thanks Tonya and Winston for a great time!

  This was my second time to NYC and you can't get a more perfect location than this! Great little neighborhood, all the amenities and many tourist attractions are within walking distance. The owner was very quick to reply to my inquiry and arriving was simple, as the man giving us the keys lives in the building. We were even allowed to store our luggage for a few hours between check out time and our actual NY departure. When visiting NY you must remember you get what you pay for! If you'd like to stay next door at the hotel you will be paying double. Sure, you don't get the convenience of someone cleaning every day and this apartment was slightly run down and yes, the bathroom has some mildew and staining, but when you're visiting NY, how much time do you spend at home anyway?! The only problem we encountered during our stay was the extension cord the a/c was plugged into was attached to the wall and the outlet it led to didn't work, so we couldn't plug it in elsewhere and NY was having a heat wave! This problem probably could have been fixed, but there was a fan and it didn't bother us enough to call anyone. I would recommend this place if you are coming to NY as a tourist because of it's great location and convenience!

  No matter where my travels take me, I'm usually ready to go home after 3 or 4 days. I was in this apartment in New York for 8 days (March 20 - 28) and it killed me to have to leave. If I lived in New York, I'd want to live in this neighborhood. When you step out onto the sidewalk and look to the right, you can see Madison Square Park at the end of the block. There is a subway station there and the best hamburger joint (Shake Shack) in NYC. The owner promptly replied to an email that I sent her before I arrived with locations of grocery stores, restaurants, area attractions, etc. My New York friends that visited me were impressed. Their reaction when they walked in was, "Wow! I love this apartment!" If you want an authentic New York experience in a great neighborhood, I would recommend this place. I can't wait to go back.

  The apartment is in a good area for sight-seeing, dining etc but the building and apartment is totally run down...since we were in NYC for business we were looking for a quiet, comfortable bed. This is not the case. The studio is right near a club so loud music plays well past midnight and the mattress is so cheap and old you have to hug the side to avoid springs. The bathroom is Very gross (mildew stains and caked grime. Lastly- I contacted the owner a few days after and requested she mail (at my expense) my hat, gloves and scarf I accidentally left in the closet. She denied she had them. I know it's a lie because my 2 other travel companions saw them in the closet the morning of departure. BEWARE: the owner can not be trusted!

  Owner response: I did NOT see their Hat and gloves and they are upset w/themselves because it was a present from their Grandmother who passed away, so they sent in a NASTY review as if it was MY fault !! I spoke with them on NUMEROUS occasions about it and tried to explain this but they were so caught up in emotion they were just mad. They even sent me an email that the apt was fine and thanking me for their stay before they realized their loss. This is not my fault and am upset someone can write such a review on a fault of their own. Shameful. Also, If the 2 companions saw it, why didnt they take it?!

  I enjoyed staying at this apartment. Everything was exactly as described, arrival and departure was very convenient with the picking up the keys from a manager in the building (no waiting or scheduling someone to meet you!) The apartment itself was clean, plenty of extra towels/linens/pillows, the kitchen well equipped with everything I needed and private rooftop access just steps from the couch!! Being in the back of the building there is no street noise, however you can hear the tenant above walking around on occasion. The neighborhood is very safe, as a single woman walking around late at night I never felt uncomfortable. There is a park and playground on the block and plenty of restaurants and stores within a minutes walk. It is also very convenient to the metro with several lines within a couple blocks. I will definitely stay here again!
