Better than the pictures!!!!

Our overall experience was superb! The owners were very accomodating and personable, the cabin was beautiful, well-stocked for multiple activities, high-end everything, and very spacious, and the surroundings were breathtaking. We skied the first day at Brian Head, snowmobiled the next day, and relaxed the third day while the kids snowboarded, tubed and sled down the road right across from the cabin. It was perfect! We particularly enjoyed the fireplace (well stocked with wood), and the master suite (large and private). The kitchen and family room were perfect for our large family gatherings, and the loft was excellent for watching movies, playing board games, and a harmless game of Texas Hold 'em. The downstairs family room was, however, used the most by everyone. We enjoyed foosball tournaments, ping-pong tournaments, and Guitar Hero showdowns. Never a dull moment. This will be a most memorable vacation!

Home for Christmas

Guest: crpend (Orem, UT)
Date of Stay: 12/22/11 Review Submitted: 01/14/12

We needed a place that would fit our entire family (11 adults + 7 kids) for Christmas this year. We wanted a cabin that would fit us all comfortably, i.e. give each family a room and bathroom. This cabin was perfect for us! We loved the space and the cabin was beautiful. Cooking in the kitchen was a dream and we even had plenty of room for present opening on Christmas morning. We had fun sledding on the road just outside the cabin and spent a day skiing at Brianhead. I know this is a funny thing to include in a review, but the washer and dryer were amazing. I have never seen such a large washer! We were all easily able to do laundry mid-trip, which is a lot to say for that many people! Thanks for the wonderful stay!

Great Place For Family Get Together

Guest: Michele W.
Date of Stay: 09/02/11 Review Submitted: 09/13/11

This was a great place for our family of 16 (4 married kids and 6 grandkids) to have a family get together. Each family had their own space and there were plenty of things to keep everyone entertained. The cabin was beautiful and kitchen was large and spacious to prepare and feed our large family. The atmospere was relaxing and restful. The cabin was very clean and furnished very nicely. It was close to many outdoor activites. The Lawrence's were great to work with. All of our family agree that we would love to go there again for a family vacation!

A Perfect Venue

Guest: Charles S.
Date of Stay: 06/24/11 Review Submitted: 07/13/11

Ten of us (5 couples) stayed here from 6/24 - 7/1 on a trip we'd been planning since late 2010. Flew into Las Vegas, picked up two mini-vans, and stopped in Cedar City for supplies. Approximately 3-1/2 hours drive from airport to cabin. We picked this cabin primarily for its location (equal distance from Zion/Bryce NP), for what it offered (comfort, chance to relax), and because it easily accommodated the size of our group. Having their own bedroom/bathroom afforded each couple privacy, while the dining area was the perfect size for all of us to enjoy meals together. Property was very clean and well-maintained. Never ran out of hot water for showers, all appliances were in working order. Having a washer/dryer meant we could pack less clothing. Large kitchen area for putting meals together. In terms of arrangements, it was nice being able to deal directly with the owners. Pamela was always prompt in responding to emails, answering questions, etc...Would definitely recommend to others looking for a relaxing alternative to staying in hotels and eating out each day.

Great place for a family reunion!

Guest: Dan (SLC, UT)
Date of Stay: 06/19/11 Review Submitted: 06/25/11

We had 14 members of my family converge from all over the country on Pamela and Rob's cabin for most of a week. What a wonderful place for a reunion! Lots of room to spread out indoors, impeccable furnishings and amenities, nice firepit for night-time ghost stories, good fishing and ATV rentals/trails right around the corner, not much more than an hour from Bryce and Zion, and great golf nearby in Hurricane and St. George. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

A Wonderful Cabin

Guest: Scott Z.
Date of Stay: 06/16/11 Review Submitted: 06/22/11

We absolutely loved the cabin. We felt welcome the moment we entered. It had all of the comforts of home. It was nice having access to the garage to store our ATV's overnight. This was not available to us on our last rental. The cabin was clean and well maintained. E-mail communication with the Owner was prompt. We would highly recommend this property and will stay here again on our next visit to Duck Creek.

We loved staying at this cabin! With 2 married children and 2 unmarried there was space and privacy for all of us as well as great times around the kitchen island or the firepit. We enjoyed 4wheelin in the beautiful red rock mountains. All of us decided we will be back! (The owners are great to work with, even offering to mail me the clothes we left in the dryer.)

Wonderful Vacation Home

Upon entering this beautiful cabin we felt like we were "home". We were 5 couples wanting to find peace & solitude. This cabin didn't disappoint. We all had enough space to be together or alone. The kitchen was well-appointed with every convenience you could hope for. Even with all of us in the kitchen there was still plenty of room.We hiked both Bryce & Zion parks and this cabin was centrally located to both.we'd definitely stay there again.J.Goldsmith,Chatsworth,CA

We have stayed in this beautiful home the last 2 years as a company retreat. It is in the perfect location- close enough to the market in Duck Creek, but in a more beautiful location surrounded by pines. The amenities are so upgraded, you won't ever call it a cabin- luxury home is right! Granite counters, private suites, jacuzzi tub, 3 family rooms... plenty of room for everyone to have space. We loved being able to snowmobile right to the home! We will definitely continue staying here as a tradition!

Cabin above the rest!!!!

This cabin is our new home away from home. This is the most beautiful cabin I’ve ever rented. This cabin has the perfect layout and catered to any need we had. From the center island where we gathered with friends and conversations, to the very spacious bedrooms and baths, this cabin has everything you'll need to relax on your getaway. We comfortably slept 13 people and could easily add 5 more. Cabin is located in the best area of Duck Creek. The owners truly are great people and you'll feel their warmth and hospitality from the moment you walk in. It’s truly a gem in the mountains.

We take an annual trip with a group of friends and never have we used the same place twice. We are always looking to do something new, but this was the first year that we loved it so much, we knew we'd be back to this specific cabin! Tucked in the trees, it is absolutely beautiful. Kayaking and fishing was close by, and the kitchen was a great place for cooking together. The owners have thought of everything and it is well stocked. There were great games in the closet upstairs and the kids pulled out Risk and played for hours! We had an absolutely fabulous time and immediately made plans to return.

Absolutely Perfect!

We enjoyed our stay in Duck Creek Village. The cabin was perfect for our large family. We took full advantage of the luxury accommodations. We cooked, played games, hiked, and swam over our week long stay. Our family was very impressed by all the details the and space the cabin offered. It was perfect for visiting both Bryce Canyon and Zion. A week was not long enough to do and see all the things we wanted to. I would recommend visiting the Shakespeare Festival in Cedar City. Everything was perfect! Thanks so much for sharing your lovely house with our family!

Wonderful cabin

Guest: George (Chicagoland Illinois)
Date of Stay: 06/17/10 Review Submitted: 06/24/10

.Great cabin in a really nice area. The kitchen is spacious with all the appliances you need to create any type of meal (and our family is really into cooking). The bedrooms are spacious with really nice bathrooms. The owners responded immediately to every e-mail I sent and left instructions in the cabin to ensure we could avail ourselves of every amenity. We have stayed in Duck Creek Pines last year and liked the cabin we rented then but loved this cabin. When we return in 2011, this is the cabin we will rent. I highly recommend you stay here as you will not be disappointed.

The cabin was beautiful and immaculate. The scenery was amazing! I would love to come back in the winter. We had a family of 18 and everyone had the opportunity to sleep in a bed. We took a day trip to Zions and it took only about an hour. We fished and hiked and had a great time. Thanks for your beautiful cabin.

Great Cabin between Zion & Bryce National Park

Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us for our first family vacation to Utah.Made my Mother's Day extra special!! We loved the location and proximity to the National Parks. Your cabin was very comfortable, clean, and surrounding areas so relaxing. We even got to enjoy some "SNOW." We will recommend your cabin to all of our friends, and hope to one day visit Utah again. We'd definitely recommend a trip to "Ruby's" in Bryce Canyon, along with looking at the stars at dark, above Thor's Hammer. And, if not afraid of heights, go for the Angel's Landing hike in Zion. Was truly amazing...check out the Indian rock pictographs in the area. We viewed the special Anasazi Indian archeological site in the Escalante Grand Staircase Monument. Always stop at visitor's center ...this trip is one of our favorite vacations. Zion national Park is like a "Yosemite" without the waterfalls; it is so beautiful....We loved it....
