LUXURY RENTAL! Truly a luxury rental in majestic Palmetto Dunes with a splendid view of the golf course, and a 6 minute walk to the beach. This 10 year old property located near the end of a quiet cul-de-sac at 28 Heath Drive has 3400 sq. ft. of living space to include 4 bedrooms with private baths (a 5th ½ bath easily accessible from pool) and an optional heated pool or spa. Golf, tennis, bike/kayak rentals, along with a host of fun activities help make this gated community on Hilton Head Island the #1 vacation resort in US/Canada (Travel & Leisure Family Magazine).
Vaulted Family room overlooks the pool, spa and golf course. TV’s and VCR’s/DVD compliment the furnishings in each bedroom. The Master bedroom features a queen size bed with an oversize bath featuring stand alone shower and pulsating jet tub, and a walk-in closet. A private French door entrance to the rear composite deck with a view of Fazio Golf Course and pool/spa add to the charm.
The 2nd master suite features a queen size bed with vaulted ceilings and has a large 53" big screen TV, DVD, & Nintendo Wii game console. It has a luxury bath attached. The 3rd & 4th bedrooms have magnificent views of the golf course; one has a queen bed with vaulted ceilings; the other has two twin beds. Each has its own private bath. For larger groups, two twin mattresses (no box springs) are stored in the attic area and a queen size air mattress and two twin size air mattresses are provided at no additional cost.
The spacious kitchen will help to entertain a crowd. Breakfast bar, children's portable picnic bench and additional dining area help to seat an overflow crowd. Corian counter tops, glass top stove, 2 Refrigerators, ice maker and lots of cupboards and storage help to make cooking on vacation an activity you actually can enjoy! There is a laundry room complete with washer and dryer (2nd refrigerator is located here).
An inviting deck entrance way, complete with twin rockers welcomes you to the home. The back composite deck allows for plenty of “sun tanning”, reading, and good ol’ fashion relaxing. There is a bathroom right off the deck in the family room for easy pool access.
A pool and hot tub/spa (heating available for either or both) compliments this vacation paradise. Barbecue on the gas/charcoal grills which are provided on the back deck. Play bumper pool or cards on the game table, corn hole in the backyard or ping pong on the table in the garage. The house also features plenty of yard space for backyard play and star gazing evenings.
Palmetto Dunes boasts the finest amenities on Hilton Head Island. Be sure to bring your bikes (or you can rent bikes) and explore unlimited trails. Enjoy Fireworks every Tuesday evening in the summer at Shelter Cove Marina, a Mediterranean-style market place.
Fishing, boat rentals, scuba diving, snorkeling, and water skiing are readily available. Check out premier golf and world class tennis, splendid dining, and evening entertainment for the whole family.

The Unique Benefits at this House
We looked at numerous properties in Palmetto Dunes. After viewing many homes, we continued to return to 28 Heath Drive. Rarely does a property so efficiently combine the elements of quality, spaciousness, view and location. Four spacious, well separated bedrooms provide privacy and are complimented by an open and light living area and efficient kitchen. The view of the golf course from the rear deck and swimming pool/hot tub/spa is amazing. We eagerly look forward to our return.

My youngest brother, Martin, and I come from a large family. We have 7 wonderful children, two grand-children and five brothers and sisters. For over 30 years, we have vacactioned with our parents, our children and numerous other family members. We have always enjoyed South Carolina, especially the Hilton Head area. It has beautiful beaches, wonderful weather and many things to do.
