What a great week! Working with Bill and the people he surrounds himself with was EXCELLENT. This was our second visit to his lovely home and we cant wait till next year. Great location, the golf course and the beach..right there. We heated the pool and used it everyday. Clean and very well maintained, I would recommend this property to all my friends. We love going the Charlies for a nice dinner. LOVE IT !!

From initial inquiry, to booking and payment, to our month long stay and questions during our stay and finally our departure and final communication we could not have asked for, and had, a better experience. The property met our expectations and the description and pictures on VRBO were very accurate. Palmetto Dunes plantation is a great area of the island and the location of this property was exceptional - on a golf course, a quiet street and a short walk (a much shorter bike ride) to the beach.

My family and I loved this house for our vacation. First of all, this house is huge. Our in laws were traveling with us for part of our stay--it was nice to have all the extra room so that we were not stepping all over one another. The pool/hot tub is wonderful and the location is great. It's a 10 minute walk or 90 second drive to the beach. And, they owners leave bikes in the garage if you want to ride to the beach. For golfers, your right on the Fazio course and within 3 minutes to Arthur Hills and the Robert Trent Jones courses. Needless to say, we will definitely be coming back. Thanks Bill!

We just returned from a week's stay at this property and we had the best time! Home is perfect for 2 families~very spacious, clean, great location, & beautiful view. We enjoyed the pool just as much as the beach! I wouldn't change anything about our trip~we only wished we could stay 2 weeks instead of 1. We will definitely be back!

We recently returned from a wonderful seven day stay at this property. The accomodations were as stated on the web site. as were the photos of the property. Instructions were laid out on how to operate the TV's, DVR's, swimming pool and spa. The property was cleaned and well maintained. The neighbors on both sides were more than friendly. (they were also from Ohio) We took a lot of pictures of the home to show our friends and they were really impressed on how the house was decorated. It made us feel right at home. Our stay was very relaxing and my daughters are inquiring when we are going to go back to HIilton Head. I would highly recommend this site to anyone who wants to get away, relax and enjoy the Southern hospitality of Hilton Head.

This is our third time staying at this property and it is always top notch. Private baths in each bedroom are wonderful when several families stay together. Close enough to beach to make morning walks a must. Will be renting this house again.

This was our first trip to Hilton Head-what a wonderful experience. Thank you Bill for sharing your lovely home. Our family of 5 rented this property the week of June 17, 2011 (boys ages 6, 5 and 5)-their grandparents joined us as well. The house is amazing...very clean and well maintained, large bedrooms and baths, comfortable beds, nice linens, and kitchen with everything we needed. Nice gas grill that we used often. The pool and backyard are very private. Our oldest loved walking the course at in the evening to look for golf balls. The little guys liked swimming in the pool, the beach and locking their bikes at the general store. Heath Drive is a perfect location-low traffic and my boys could ride their bikes without us being concerned. Ten minute walk to a beautiful beach and a five minute bike ride to the neighborhood general store (serves Starbucks). We rented bikes the day we arrived (from Outfitters-at Palmetto Dunes entrance)-there are bikes in the garage, but we wanted to ride on the beach and didn't want to destroy them with the salt water. During our stay, we had a question regarding the cable/internet connection and left a message for the owner to call us. Bill returned our call within five minutes! Our deposit was returned promptly (and in full). We highly recommend visiting Shelter Cove (across the street from Palmetto Dunes). We did the Shannon Tanner Pirate Cruise which was amazing! Also recommend Catch22 estaurant for an awesome dinner. Will definately return to HHI and this property again!

We've been bringing our children to Hilton Head for over 20 years and this year we were able to get the entire family together. What luck that my daughter found this home while visiting the vrbo.com website! After a week in this gorgeous home, I only had two wishes. One, hire an architect to draw the floor plan of this absolutely perfect home because I loved it that much, and two, get booked for the same week next year! Our family (mom, dad, two grown children, their spouses, and 2 grandchildren) found this house to be the perfect place for the best family vacation ever! It was well-equipped, clean, spacious, and lovely! With two members of our family being avid golfers, being able to play as well as view the golf course was a perfect scenario for them. For the son and daughter-in-law who love to ride bikes, the 5 minute ride to the beach was so enjoyable. And the location was wonderful. We cruised around the island in no time with the central location. The pool and hot tub were a huge hit with everyone. The pool maintenance company even stopped by a couple of times to assure that the pool was clean. This home has everything you could ever hope for for a family vacation - ping pong, bikes, pool, game table, corn hole game - you name it! The extra refrigerator in the laundry room was wonderful for keeping the food and drinks we brought for the week. Having a washer and dryer available was another great asset. There was even a kiddie picnic table that we used to keep the children meals on the tile flooring as opposed to the carpet. It was if they had thought of EVERYTHING any visitor might need. The owner is wonderful about communicating information needed in a very timely and detailed manner. Words simply can't express how much we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely home! Without a doubt, we will be making plans to stay again!

The combination of the house’s amenities and location and the great weather combined to make for a very enjoyable month in Hilton Head. The kitchen and laundry area are very well stocked with dishes, appliance and utensils. The open concept for the living area is very comfortable. It also served us well on the few occasions we had guests drop in because of the large open area which is conducive to socializing. Being bridge players we really appreciated the combination table/card table/bumper pool table. The bikes were appreciated and were great for exploring Palmetto Dunes and for going for rides on the beach. I loved the location. It was pleasurable to sit on the deck having coffee and/or breakfast in the morning watching the sun come up over the golf course. Of course it was also a convenient location to begin a walk on the golf course cart path before or after the golf activity. It was also a very convenient short walk to get to the beach. The front and back decks provide for choices for reading/sitting in or out of the sunshine at any given time of the day. Add the almost ideal weather to your lovely home and location and you have the makings for a great stay.

We stayed in this lovely house Feb. 12-28, 2011. It is on the 2nd hole of the Fazio Golf Course, but not in danger of being hit by a stray shot. There is a huge master bedroom with jetted tub on the main floor. There is a queen bedroom with large-screen TV and shower bathroom that is up a few stairs, and then the other 2 bedrooms with full baths are up a few more stairs from that. The house is well-equipped with dishes and kitchen utensils. We enjoyed playing bumper pool and WII and riding the provided bikes. The property was clean and well maintained and the owners were very receptive to any questions or concerns that we had. We would definitely rent this place again in the future!

This house was a wonderful getaway for a family get together! The back deck faces the #2 hole of the Fazio course yet still feels secluded. There is some form of shade as well as sun around the pool all day long to relax in while listening to music through outdoor speakers. We enjoyed the pool, cornhole, the bumper pool table that converts to a deluxe card table, and the bikes to tour the Hilton Head area. A bathroom connected to each bedroom is wonderful! The Fazio course is a wonderful course to play and was easy to get a tee time. The beach was a 10 minute walk or a short, easy bike ride. Recommend a stay here if you can.

This lovely, well-designed, and beautifully-maintained home was our family's comfortable home-away-from-home for seven days in June. The layout worked very well for this group of seven adults--everyone appreciated having their own private space (and bath!) as well as the large kitchen and laundry room (with extra refrigerator!). The owner is a pleasure to deal with, too, and we are already trying to find a date when we can return next year. Thanks!

This house was fabulous and, as good as the online pictures are, it was apparent the minute we walked in the door that it exceeded our already high expectations. Our family ranged from little ones to grandparents and the house was perfect for our needs - well spaced bedrooms w/ private bathrooms in each one, a very large family/living room that served as our central gathering place and, tops on our list, the back of the house with a spacious deck, pool, hot tub, and a great view of the golf course. We spent much of our time, day and night, just relaxing outside. There's no question this is the house we look foward to returning to again and again!

We stayed at the 28 Heath Dr. over our Christmas holiday (24 Dec - 2 Jan) and all we can say is WOW! The house was beautiful, clean, and full stocked. It's in a wonderful location and you're close to the beach, restaurants, and shopping! The pictures do not do the home justice...we will CERTAINLY be back again for another stay. Thanks for all the memories, 28 Heath!

This house was fantastic! I have stayed at a few different homes on the island and I've definitely found one worth visiting year after year. The bedrooms are well spaced and each room having a private bath is great for large families. The kitchen, family room, dining area and patios are spacious luxurious. The pool and spa made our family feel like we had our own little paradise. Can't wait to return next year!

The layout of the house is perfect - the bedrooms are set up so that everyone feels as though they have their "own space". The kitchen, as always, seems to be the gathering place for all families, and this kitchen was certainly large enough to accomodate all of us. The house itself was very clean, spacious and very well maintained. It is obvious that the owners love and take pride in their lovely home. After years of renting vacation homes, this home offered everything we needed and also the best value. Thank you so much for sharing your home with our family because we THOROUGHLY enjoyed our vacation!

Wonderful home that is exactly as advertised. We have stayed in other homes in Palmetto Dunes and this one has been the best. Mr. Healy was very easy to deal with and the deposit was returned to us very quickly. Highly recommend this property.

This house was magnificant. It is a beautiful home, but the spacious rooms and private baths for each bedroom are the real winners. It is such a peaceful area and the view of the course while sitting by your private pool was awesome, and the beach is a very close walk away. Will be staying here again in years to come.....fantastic week.

WOW - when we first walked into the house, all I could say was WOW! From the wonderful view of the golf course, to our own private deck with pool/spa, to all the couples having their own individual rooms and bath - this house made it a vacation we would remember for years. Having your own pool for the day and spa at night was something we were looking for and found it at 28 Heath. We would definitely recommend this house to family and friends - plenty of room, large kitchen, short distance to the beach, fun for the entire family and plenty of amenities provided to renters. Thanks for making our first time in Hilton Head one we'll always remember.
