At low tide, the wide, flat beach outside of Beachmaster 203 seems to go on forever. It is a good time of day to collect seashells and sand dollars that are newly exposed. Walk the beach with a sand bucket in hand as they make great totes for wet, sandy shells that you pluck from the Atlantic Ocean. Let the waves race across your bare ankles as you head toward the fishing pier. It is a rejuvenating walk from Beachmaster 203 and the pier is an appealing destination. Try your hand at casting a line out in the deep blue sea and reel in your own catch of the day. Novice and avid fishermen alike enjoy the tranquility of the fishing pier in Cherry Grove.
On the return walk to Beachmaster 203, hop in the ocean to cool off and body surf the waves. You cannot help but smile when a cresting wave sweeps you off the sandy ocean bottom and hurls you toward land, a complimentary ride that can be enjoyed with or without a boogie board.
