  I spent Thanksgiving week with my family of 10 ages 5 to 60 and we had a wonderful time. The house is very spacious, bathrooms for every bedroom, a terrific deck that puts you almost in the ocean, a two car garage was a plus, all you could possibly need for a perfect beach vacation. Having a dock across the street was a terrific. We fished, kayaked, enjoyed the sunsets. Their is abundant bird life in the area, sea birds of all kinds, pelicans, osprey even an passing owl. The rock outcroping next door were like being at Blowing Rocks Preserve a few miles to the south. THe surf was pounding the entire week, water splashing and spraying 40 feet into the air. The house is a short walk to the House of Refuge Museum and Bathtub Beach, though you have all the beach you need at your doorstep. I can't say enough good things about the house and the people who own and care for it. A great experience and one we will do again many times.

  My wife, 2 children and 2 grandchildren just returned from a wonderful vacation at this marvelous beach house. Everything was just as it was represented in the ad. Everything was immaculate. The house was very spacious and with 3 sleeping areas, everybody had their privacy. When we arrived, the owner Betty was there waiting for the cable company to fix a minor problem. She treated us like family. My grandchildren are 12 and 16 and we all spent a great deal of time on our own beach, hopping waves, boogie boarding, gathering sea shells and fishing. What a great feeling it was to walk out our back door and immediately be on the beach. We also walked across the street to our own private pier and fished in the lagoon. It was truly paradise and certainly beats staying at a hotel. The are many restaurants and attractions in the area. I highly recommend this house to anyone who is looking to have a wonderful vacation, as the owner Betty is out to please.

  My family and I arrived for our weeks stay at the beach house, and just upon seeing the outside we were in awe instantly! We entered the home to find one pristine clean & cozy room/area after another. The home is so spacious, open, and offers amazing, breath-taking views of the ocean and the river. The family that owns the home pays close attention to traveler-friendly details such as providing many beach chairs & beach towels, stocking every bathroom with a brand new bar of soap, and even having some laundry detergent available for use with their washer and dryer in their spacious laundry room. Every room has it's own full bathroom; this proves invaluable when having kids in the house. My family are "boaters" so my husband was ecstatic about having the use of a boat lift so as not to have to leave the boat sitting in the saltwater all week. And my father was so thrilled that it has a deep water dock since his has a bigger boat and needed the deep water to make use of tying up to the dock, The owners of this magnificent property are so warm and welcoming, and make sure their visitors know they are available at ANY TIME should we need something. We never felt in hesitation should we need to call them. We have vacationed on Hutchinson Island for 6 years over the 4th of July week and we have never had as much of a fun, relaxing, easy, all around awesome time as we had this year staying in this unbelievable home. We can't wait to make more memories here next year! You haven't experienced the beauty of Hutchinson Island until you have stayed in this unique beach and river front home!

  Our vacation here has been wonderful! Thank you for sharing your home with us. Pictures do it no justice. Views that you only see in movies!! The house is absolutely perfect for us and is very well equipped with anything you could possibly need. Thank you for everything!

  I want to say Thank you for sharing your home ... Thank you from my family as our Thanksgiving week could not have been better. My nieces & their family's traveled down from New England for the week. The house was perfect for my family. Watching the Sunrise every morning & Sunset every evening.... not too many places you can see that beauty from one home. We enjoyed your home, walking onto the beach from your deck everyday. The fishing off the dock was great also !! I wish I could share all the beautiful photos and monents my family enjoyed. Thank you from our hearts ! I would recomend your home for couples or families ...it is perfect for both. I am hoping to share with more of my family as they travel to Florida.

  We just returned from a week long vacation at this wonderful home! We could not ask for more--the beach as a back yard and the Intercoastal as a front yard! The beach was wonderful. It was a great setting for sunrise and sunset. We enjoyed relaxing on the deck while the kids played lacrosse on the beach. The house was a nice walk or quick car ride from Bathtub Beach. This is a great location for little ones! There was more than enough room and we had an AMAZING time! So many wonderful memories were made. We were sad to see our time end. Thank you!

  We would definitely like to come back to this beach house on Hutchinson Island but stay longer next time. The kids loved being able to walk off the deck in the morning and be able to play in the sand and waves right away. My wife and I loved that there was lots of room for everybody with plenty of privacy. The owner didn't mind answering our many questions and was very helpful. There was a marine encounter facility nearby which our youngest child particularly enjoyed, and the walk down to Bathtub Beach along the sand was fun for all.

  This was a lovely home, plenty large for lots of people with its 4 full bedrooms and extra sleep sofas. The house was well maintained, and the owner was very helpful in answering questions/concerns. The beach is rocky here, so sitting on the beach or wading out in the water were not really great options (plus we had Portuguese Man-of-War jellyfish for a few days!). Fishing is good, especially in the Indian River right across the street. Touring the town of Stuart was wonderful -- such a quaint place with great restaurants. We had a great time!

  Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway.

  Do you love beautiful sunrises? Do you love beautiful sunsets? Do you love listening to the surf at night? This home offers that and more! The accommodations are great. You are secluded but yet close to restaurants and shopping. For the relaxing vavcation you have always wanted**this is a MUST!!
