I would disagree with the previous reviewer. It was a delightful place for an extended family. Yes, there were some minor issues with the house, but the house manager was quick to come by and help us out. We loved hanging by the lake. We found some other locations that were nicer, but for a lot more money. This was a great place for a good value.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

Beware - this house is a lemon. Yes, it is big - but that is about all. Parts of the house were still under DIY looking renovation, we had issues with the plumbing and electric, the lake is nothing more than a sink hole (and dirty), dock has a broken plank, house is dark inside, A/C is limited to one room, etc. I could go on, but the message is simply - for the money (which is a lot) you can certainly find a better house on a nicer lake.

What an excellent place to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary with our kids and grandkids! This house offers so much individual privacy yet still has fabulous communal areas! The kitchen is perfect for cooking for large groups, the lake is serene, and the yard is well suited to croquet and wiffle ball games! We hope to return next year!
Recommended for:Girls getaway, families with young children.
