It has hiking and biking trails throughout the area and is perfect for quiet walks with the sounds of nature. It is only minutes from Dupont State Forest where there are trails and dozens of waterfalls. There is also Davidson River and Pisgah National Forest where trout fishing is ample.
It is also minutes from Historic Hendersonville where there are many shops where antiques are abundant.
Day trips include: Asheville which has many shops and a selection of various restaurants. You will also find the magnificent Builtmore Estate, Harrah's Casino, Cherokee Indian Reservation, Grandfather Mountain and Great Smokey Mountain National Park & more.
