Retreat to a peaceful home on the edge of the beautiful Rocky Mountains! Sunrise Home is on a quiet street where you can wake up to wonderful views of the sunrise or relax while watching horses roam the rolling hills. Out the western windows, enjoy the view of the majestic mountaintops!
Our spacious, single-level, fully furnished (1800sq ft) three bedroom, two full bathroom, home has a full and open kitchen, large dining table, great room, and a smaller common area. The washer and dryer are conveniently located just off the kitchen. All windows are screened, allowing for comfortable cross-ventilation during warm summer days.
The huge master suite is complete with a California King bed, a walk-in closet, and large dresser. Its roomy bath has an oversized soaking tub, separate full shower, and two vanities. The two other bedrooms, conveniently situated on either side of the second full-size bathroom, each are furnished with queen beds, closets and dressers. The living room has a large, comfortable sectional which includes a sofa that may be converted into a full-size bed. Eight people can comfortably sleep in this home making it an ideal family getaway location.
There is a convenient driveway in which to park your car. The level, grassy yard offers a space to unwind while enjoying Montana's Big Sky. As the sun sets ending a long day, use our many trail maps and outdoor books to inspire your next day's adventures!

Year Purchased: 2006
I bought this house to share with others as I am off exploring the wilderness with kids. I am a teacher and a wilderness guide. I enjoy taking my bike or my kayak out for an adventure. Growing up on the Puget Sound and living in Sitka, Alaska have been just a few of my many adventures. My welcoming home is super nice to come home and relax in. I hope that you will enjoy it after many of your adventures while visiting Glacier Park!
Why the Owner Chose East Glacier Park
This is my home I live in year round. I lead wilderness trips and live out of a tent when I am not home. I chose to buy my home in this location because of Glacier Park being my backyard! I go biking, running, walking, skiing right out my door and into the park! I teach on the Indian Reservation during the school year, and lead youth wilderness trips with them during the year.
The Unique Benefits of this House
The view is never the same at any moment! The wind will blow, the wildlife will move, the sun will shine and the belly will be full! Sitting and watching the sun rise and set can all happen from inside or outside! Cows, horses and more can all be watched from the windows! I have seen a moose a few times from my windows too! Located on the last dead end street, it has very little traffic.
